This is pretty upsetting. I remember back in '07 when this was a still very active and cool place. I would always check the forums updating myself on what "people" are wearing these days and always like the photos since they showed off the clothes as they would appear in person. And always leaving the place for the day, "You know what, I really do hope I can afford all these cool clothes you guys wear. $100+ for jeans is a lot, but damn you make it look so worth it.



The bans killed the site. When the cool people left, everyone else followed. What's the point of being on a forum where the people you came here for never showed up? It just got boring, from daily...ehem...hourly thread and reply creation, there was something new to read and eventually you got used to particular people...and just like that, banned.

haha. Well it started going downhill once it became the "dominant" forum...without the competition of other forums (and DDNA was never really competition, anyway) it's turning into everything she apparently didn't want it to be.

Well this is a fun thread! Chris, sorry to see you go (again) but I understand why... I'm never around anymore, but the only chance HF has to continue is to do what you're doing and let everyone back in.

Although really, I don't know why Pam would ever come back and post- she's got an actual running forum to take care of. From the reading I did of the stuff that happened back around and after the split, most of the AF mods and administrators went through enough shit then to last them awhile. I wouldn't blame any of them for not coming back.

yeah, it's starting to happen over there too though. the citizens mod left because she was fed up with the mean behavior of a lot of people there (including some other mods). the paige mod also left but that could have been because she got really busy with school.
