Here is a pair of lemmen 772 which looks WAY real to me, but appears to have a blank space instead of "made in italy" and has a tag benieth that which looks JUST like a tag on a pair that I have which reads "made in morocco" interesting tidbit...

I own a authentic pair of diesel kratts that also do not have the "made in italy" stitched on the indian head tag. It says made in italy on the tag with the ART. They do have the hard to read #'s above the indian head, real microstitching, and 2 other tags behind the indian head tag. Also, I bought them from a legit store. I have a post on this board somewhere about it. I am not a pro on spotting fake diesel's, but I do believe that diesel uses a variety of the indian head tags.
