Not to bother you, but I thought you're in charge here right now.

That whole idea would be a try and you would have to think it through straight. Are the members of the restricted area allowed to post in the "old" HF too or only in their area? Who's in charge in the restricted area? What to do if there are violations against juvenile protection laws or other internet laws for showing porn pics for ex.? I think that's a problem with jawnz too. Would that be covered by a good disclaimer?

Not to forget to ask the members there about the idea. If they don't want it, it's useless to think about.

Oh I can bring banned members back, thats why I asked, and I was told I would have complete power for all changes

However when I spoke to Dave on the phone he refused to A) Get rid of akll these outdated designer brands and replace them with broad range discussion areas) and B) No "enter at your own risk" becausehe felt it would be "toxic"

I dont have direct access to the programmer ( and the funds to pay him) or I would have done that myself. To be honest its rather disheartening, as I figured thats what I would be able to do without involving him. I can email the programmer but I dont have access to the funds required to pay for the work.

To be honest, me coming back is starting to become a bit of a wash. I was able to do thing sin the beginning but even the emails I have sent out to Dave lately ( ie changing the front page ect) haven't been returned

I just dont think hes willing to fully let go of all control. Changing the sections/main screen as well as an enter at your own risk are were pretty much the crux of what I wanted done here.

aww chris again with your hands being tied. I guess there is some irony the man who started the forum is also the one who single handedly killed it. By not allowing for the forum to change and grow with the community, fashion, and time he has slowly but surely killed what was once an active community with good dialogue, and information and I am sure he has also killed what was once a lucrative money maker for himself as well.

I would love to see the changes you want to implement but we all know that's never going to happen.

I know this is a thread from a couple months ago...sorry for bumping it...but question... Did we get rid of the drama section? I mean, obviously it's gone, so apparently the answer is yes. Was there a reason for that? Were we planning on removing that so we could have the Enter at your own Risk section and then it didn't happen?

So confused.

The "enter at your own risk section" was just a thought, Chris was hoping that it would build momentum, but Dave nixed it.

Drama section is gone. I don't know what happened to it, but my guess is Dave did not want anyone seeing it. I wonder why???
