What's up with the white sticker on Sevens?

I bought my first pair of Sevens from Nordstrom roughly a month ago, and i love them. Now, I would like to know what's that white sticker on Sevens are all about. Also, is the cut number like a serial number?

Hi!

The cut number is not a serial number but a kind of production date. The higher the cut number, the newer the jeans. Current Sevens have a cut number like 704,XXX. A serial number can be found on the back of the third inner lable (only on newer Sevens - older pairs with only two lables don't have this serial number). Beware - most fakes also have this serial number, this is why the existence of the serial number is NOT an evidence for an authentic pair.

I'm not sure what the "lot ref #" is supposed to be. Can anyone help us out here?

Best regards, Bianca
