Hi all

I am looking for my fav pair of diesel zaf 796 jeans. I have been looking everywhere to find it, the one i had it got worn off, i had it for 3-4years. so ive been looking but they longer exist, if i knew i would have bought an extra pair, anyway i bought a pair on ebay same size but they were quite big leg wise and the it was way too much bootcut. how many versions are they of that pair ? and is this the slimmer version than the actual large bootcut one ?

DIESEL ZAF 796 zathan BOOTCUT

thanks

Um, what language is this? Sorry but your post makes no sense.

Maybe you are thinking of Zathan 796, which is no longer made. Zathan had a smalled bootcut that Zaf. Zaf has always had the same hem width despite the release date and can be found just about anywhere. I would try Urban Outfitters.

Thanks for your reply. I am definitely sure it was zaf. Here is a link of the exact zaf I had. I made an order from eBay same size as my old jeans but it came out baggy, it wasn’t straight leg and slim boot cut. Sorry I hope am not confusing.

Cheers

if your old Zafs fit nothing like the new ones then I'm guessing you bought fakes.

Isnt the sizes with diesel funny, i mean when it says on the tag 32W means 33W ? just wondering if that is true or not

thanks

I don't understand why you folks who don't love bootcuts just buy a longer inseam and get them altered. I did this with a few Zathans and they look much better.

More like a 32 will be 34 inches

The general rule of thumb is to add 2 inches to the listed waist size, as they sit lower on the hips

While this may work for solid washes(88z, 8DK, etc) It doesn't for ones with heavy details at the bottom of the jeans. Or if there are whiskers or what not on the knee. if you get a longer inseam the whiskers will be lower then where your knee caps really are. Like high to mid shin. You would lose the details on the hems for sure.
