I have a pair in LA Dark and while the waist and booty fit perfectly, the thighs have stretched out more than I was expecting. I've never had alterations beyond hemming done, so my question is: Can the leg of these jeans be "taken in" and, if so, will it likely turn out well? I'm assuming Nordstroms will do this...

I don't know if linking to AF is allowed here (lol) but BabyJ posted a guide on how to do it without even having to cut any fabric (which is good if you eventually decide to sell). I don't remember it exactly but I think you would just measure out the width you need (like turn them inside out, put them on and pinch the amount/pin it) then just sew down that amount and tack down the folded part. Because it's the inner seam you won't notice it at all (obviously you'd have to do it kind of diagonally down the leg, not parallel to the original seam, so that you wouldn't have to take it in below the knee as well)
