Preview of news washes/cut of next season /! \1st post UPDATED/!\ - Page 5

8YE looks like a crappy version of 8RI. Again, why does Diesel feel the need to come out with variations of the same wash techniques... just re release the badass ones and work harder on releasing a few unique / new ones each season, try that shit out. I think they'd make a lot more money.

I actually kinda like 8WW, much more than any other distressed wash I've seen lately, especially the darker versions of 71J like 73J etc.

But I think you'd be better off finding a pair of Thanaz you love, wash + pockets, and fucking them up yourself.

Fuck screenprinted pockets. I love screenprinted textiles, but denim ain't the place Diesel.

I'm looking forward to getting 8WN.

8YE looked so bad it made me cry.

Yeah, dude. They look bootleg! Those back pockets make 8IN look classic.

8YE look like 10$ jeans if there would be no diesel logo.

Yeah... I guess it will be the most difficult task to id the authenticity of a 8YE from the appearance??
They're cutting of the bootleggers by making the fake jeans themselves.

Diesel Jeans - Summer 2009 Collection - Free Shipping!

They just posted a bunch of new washes including Thanaz 8ww, Zathan 64M and Zatiny 8tl, of course they're all oversized on the models.

fuck i can't even defend Renzo for 8YE what the fuck seriously i think the GFC has caused him to hire some out of work SFAM and TR designers- i would rather them gather up some shit they haven't sold and re-release it rather than release shit like that wtf-that wash 8xe looks fucken sick but will be getting me a pair

Darron 8WW , on UK Diesel Store.

and I dunno if Safado 8UP is the new wash for next season or not, but I haven't seen them before.

Is 8UP a stretch wash?

Alright forget it... it is not =)

The wash is called 8WM. You won´t find anything searching for 8WN...
anybody try on the 8ww? the wash of it (minus the cuts and scratches) looks pretty sexy
post #115 of 302
The wash itself is top notch. If you took away the scratches it would be a bona-fide epic wash.
^^ Some pairs have less scratching, and its not seen that much on every pair, but those "dirty Thirty" inspired holes, just turn me off kinda.
I should amend my prior comment - If you took away the scratches and holes it would be an epic wash.

It's really sad that there's not some kind of creative direction cop over at Diesel who could save great washes from being ruined by self-indulgent details or - ruined by being limited to just one or two outer-fringe cuts.
how noticeable are they in person tho? if they aren't that noticeable, and blend in pretty well im thinking of getting it, mainly for the wash
post #119 of 302
^ Wash is super cool, i saw Matic's in 8WW last week. Great wash, Kinda rigid but great and pretty pricey too. Matic goes for £180. I think Thanaz is same price.

Just checked out Thanaz 8ww in London, but they didn't have in my size so cannot comment on fit.

Nice-ish wash but certainly not worth the £200 price tag over here. Got 8sv for £75 in the sales instead.
I think we'll see heaps of 8WW for half-price at Gilt by season's end.
re: 8WN, whoops. well 8WM doesn't yield any results either at this point.... hmm... the wait continues.

Any Zatiny fans as excited as I am about these? I must say though, gray washes seem more suited to straight legs than bootcut, so I'm not sure how I'll feel. Very good chance I'd be visiting my tailor with those.

I was this excited about Safado 8HU until I got a pair and realized how blatant the stitching patches were.

In all honesty I wouldn't part with £100 for them. I was completely underwhelmed by the wash in person.
