30% off came out to $777 with all the shipping/taxes.

Still expensive but I've been wanting ever since I saw it on the site.

STUPID PAINT annoys me, but I think it will "grow" on me (or hoping) lol

LINETT

NNOOOOooo!! Don't say that! lol

We'll see...I keep a pretty scruffy look about me so it should be fine

i wanna see this jacket

I think the back print looks pretty ridiculous - but in a good way. Kudos on the ballsy purchase.

This jacket looks awesome!! that's the kind I like. Not especially for the printings on it, but for the overall look and fit.

Shame that, as a student, I don't have this kind of money to invest in a good leather jacket.

i like it cant wait to see pics!

binaryfi I purchased my LINETT when it was 35% off = $774.00 total with tax.

I love my LINETT and I’m sure you will enjoy yours; however I did find one annoying thing about it. The flap on the back side does not set very flat like it shows on the Diesel site. I am contemplating having mine altered to stay flat.

Please let us know what you think about the back flap and of course everything else that you find great about this jacket.

Sorry, had to change font. Courier sucks.

etgreg - thanks for the heads up! Maybe i can use some Duct tape to close it off (ryan24) lol

Yeah, I just got the shipping confirmation and it came out to $777. The first price was estimated I guess. Even better!

Got it in the mail today. I got to say that the leather feels...FAKE.

I have 6 Diesel leather jackets that have the best feeling leather IMO. Not this one. Don't get me wrong it's nice and all but if you think you want to get it, keep shopping around. If it was cheaper I'd say go for it but even at $777 I don't think it was money well spent.

The print on the front and back...not bad at all.

binaryfi, the LINETT is made of Sheepskin leather which is very soft and thin; this is probably why you think it feels fake. Is this your first leather jacket made of sheepskin?

The leather on mine is not very shinny; it is rather pale in comparison to the one on the Diesel site. The fit is nice and it is a light jacket for spring/summer. Overall I’m pleased.

Does the flap on the back lie flat when worn?

We both need to show worn pics soon.

Not sure. I'm not home and don't have access. I have the Leleat, joirje, lerib, jispy, luppy and now linett. It does say "polished" so maybe that is the waxey feel it has.

For sure on the worn pics. I go home in June so should be posted by then. Sorry folks!

I'm not a great fan of that jacket, proly because it's not my personal style
but I'm sorry you are a bit disappointed with it
I hope it will grow on you in the future

and post pics as soon as you can!

those of u who have diesel leather jackets, do you guys buy the same size as any other diesel jacket? i want to buy a diesel leather jacket but not sure what size to buy. all my diesel jackets are in medium, so shoudl i stick with medium?
All my Diesel jackets are in size M. Some fit perfect, a couple are on the questionably tight side, but I definitely wouldn't want a large.
anhthanh1, try on all apparel before you buy if possible. Diesel jackets are very slim fitting.

I usually wear a large in Diesel and a few are XL. One of my favorite Diesel jackets is the WIMPIDI; a non leather jacket. There’s not much give in the material, so I had to go with an XL.

Grondie I have know idea how you can wear a medium in any of Diesel’s jackets; you are not a small person. I’m not suggesting you’re fat.

I always buy Med Diesel leather jackets. They all fit pretty much the same. Works for me!

It's strange. I can't do less than a size L in most Diesel button-ups because they're so slim in the chest and arms, and on the other hand most size L jackets are huge on me.
etgreg - i own a few diesel jackets always medium, i would try on some diesel leather jackets but where i live no where sell them.

thanks for all the input guys i think ima stick to medium, also do u guys find the leather to tend to strecth alot?
Depends on the jacket - Diesel uses all sorts of different leather from piece to piece. My Leleat has stretched noticeably with wear, but my Liroy jacket hasn't given at all.

u know anything about the lexis jacket? would that strecth if it made out of lamb?

anyone here tried on teh lexis before ? i had a chance to try it on in medium which fitted good but arm was too long and was bunching up alot. they had no more small so i couldn't try it on, but the guy told me the jacket arm lenght was made long like a motocylce jacket so when ppl ride a bike it still covers thier arm. can anyone here comfirm this ? trying to gather up as much info before buying.
