actually, organization wasn't like that initially. it became more like the photos about 30 min into the melee. two hours later, it was hopeless as i was repeatedly finding the same pairs i discovered way earlier at the bottom of the pile.
it WAS exciting, though, especially getting to meet the other HFers (and some AFers)! my catch wasn't as ginormous as others, but i'd say not bad for a first time.
Antolette was right - it WAS a mix of older and newer designs. mostly new, but alot of older ones. scored 3 pairs myself (will post after the weekend), so it was worth the drive for sures.
example of some older designs: some lucky bloke found TWO pairs of Floyd SELENIUMS in 31 and 32. i had to resist lifting a pair off his shoulder or scheming to "bump" into him. bastard.
