Yes. One of the holy denim-grails, imo. Even though variations are smaller it depends on the lab. I had severals but I would never sell the one that I still have.

all depends on your cut, I think a lot of people dislike the super slimness of thanaz and fierce animal pockets. most vikers are kinda of plain, but that's the point, it's a more conservative cut.

I'll have a new string of sales numbers on Sunday night.

I agree w/this. Viker 71B is (IMO) one of Diesel's Top 5 cut/wash combos ever produced. Restrained, with no silly details or over-distressing, and a great fit. It's a very good pair of jeans for the winter and I will probably end up keeping it unless I can get Robness' quoted figure for it.

I'm not set on selling it, but my GF and I just bought a new car and we are trying to come up with a plan to start socking as much $$ away as possible. I have like 3x the amount of clothing she has and it is time for things to be consolidated.

All 3 of these jeans are very near and dear to me and probably are the best expressions of what I wanted out of Diesel. But if I can clear $3-400 from selling them, I'd have to strongly consider that option.

In order to really get what I want out of the Safados, they will have to be tailored. Either hemmed, or tapered. And then I will be stuck with them. I learned my lesson with Slammer 8bk (removed the pockets, thinking I would wear them a lot, and never did, thus bringing my total expenditure on them to 175).

I dunno, maybe Darron 8ih would be nice.

But I've never paid anything over $190 (for Timmen 71J) for Diesel jeans and I think my budget for this kind of thing is going to be reduced. I need to sell, not buy.

^ same here, but still, try darron mate, I'm sure you'll like it, and 8IH is a great wash, just picked up a pair of Doozy! for a friend.Great wash, if i had a chance to get in darron or safado, would be nice.

ross, if you need money, put them on Ebay. The market here has dwindled for W.26 ers I think.

or... think about this. if you have a bunch of jackets and nice shirts etc. etc. sell that shit and keep your favorite jeans. a favorite pair of jeans you can wear every day, expensive jackets, and dressier stuff... you can't.

I have jackets and shirts too and they are getting listed as well. I have something like 50 items to list. Polo shirts, flannels, Diesel shirts and jeans, tons of stuff.

My favorite jeans are probably my 71B, or my Zavor 86F. Those won't go anywhere, neither will my Slammer 8bg.

Good call about the 26W market, I think I agree with you.

trouleg 8aa is worth 20 to 30 % more than 88z imo.

look how easy it is to find 88Z vs the T 8AA...

I picked up a pair of 28x32 '05 Zathan 772 on the cheap at a local thrift store.

The hems are totally tattered, and I'm wondering if it would be wise to hem them prior to selling. I did the same thing with a pair of 70Z from my personal collection, and had the alteration people make basically an exact copy, and then I recreated the distressing.

So the question is what is worth more, a pair of 772 with shredded hems, or a pair with an altered hem.

Keep in mind I'd need to pay around 20.00 to have the alteration done.

Well how much do you think you can at least get for it and how much did you pay for it so far? I would just take a picture of pre-hemming and post-hemming and post both of them on ebay.

How much could I get for a 26x32 Trouleg 8eu? Also how much is a Zathan 80P in 26x30 worth? Both pretty mint condition. Thinking about selling those two for a safado, zatiny, or thanaz.

At a 32" length I'd leave them alone. Some people don't care but if they're chewed up more than 2 inches on the back then forget it, nobody would want these. A good 30 inseam would work get some sandpaper and go at them on the bottom. Get some bleach and mix some water and with a q tip gently brush the bottom. Enough said.

when you get into smaller sizes its hard to really estimate what people will pay I think...the zathan would probably do well and troulegs run longer usually so depends on if you can find a taller skinny guy to fit into those...cant really hem that style too much so that will limit your sale on those.
