What size should I order I already have a 28 on its way and they will be too small
post #5 of 91
Ok, so I just ordered a size 28 which I know will be way too big.....a 26 or 27 would have worked.

They're stretch, right?

I'll be so sad if they don't fit! Do you think it's possible to shrink them 2 sizes????

how likely is it that there will ever be around again? I want to splurge but its the holidays soon and i shouldn't be buying things for myself...

I was thinking the same thing earlier.

I think I'm going to cancel my order.

I got so excited when I saw this post, but now that I'm thinking clearly, I know the size 28 won't fit me even if I do shrink them.

I wear a size 26 in 100% cotton, and a 27 in 100% cotton A's, so to think that a size 28 STRETCH will fit me is just ridiculous!

Oh well.....

Thanks!

Okay, so do these fit small? I couldnt buy the 32 because I didnt think they would shrink 2 sizes. Now that they have a 30, am afraid they will be too small (I am usually a 30 in bootcut stretch) if they really do fit on the small side. Help....
Any suggestions?

I got the 32's because I heard they ran small. I think a 31 would have been perfect. . maybe a 30 but they wouldn't be that comfortable. . I hope they run small.

I'm gonna need those shrink techniques if not!

I would get the 30 if you're a 30 in bootcut stretch. I don't see how they could run THAT small. Do you have a Barney's near you? If so, get them and return them if they don't end up fitting.

Hey! Can we return them??? I thought it was a final sale. . .I didn't even check. .
I am pretty sure you can return them
Alas I am currently living abroad so no Barneys near me. If I buy these I would have to have them sent to me, so it would be a few months before I could return them. Oh well, decisions decisions..

Well. . .that is GOOD news. . I thought I would have to eat it if they didn't fit.

Jeesh . . I wonder about the 30. Dammit. . I think they'll be just a bit too small. How about a 30.75??

Damn sizing!

are you a small 30 or a larger one? i am worried about the size 30 as well.

I think a large one. I can fit into sz. 30 flynts. . but they are just a bit too snug. I have 30 boycuts (or did) but those are bigger anyway. . I don't own any bootcuts. But I'm a 31 in old rigid dojos. and a damn 32 in bombays. (WAY big in the waist)

I like wearing my jeans comfortably, so wont wear anything super tight. My size 30 bootcuts are an older style I think and they are comfortable but not tight. I am still wondering if the 30 Sugarplums are going to be fine.
I would love to find a good deal on a pair of boycuts - I think I would like the higher rise on those. But havent seen any on ebay...

I hope Twyla has seen this- she wants these I think in a 30.

More sizes available for Sugarplum bootcuts - 28, 29, 30!!!

Okay, I really, really didn't need to purchase more jeans this week - I think I'm truly addicted now! I ordered these in a size 30, I hope they'll fit! This is also my most expensive jean purchase to date. We'll have to start a post once everyone get's theirs and compare the fit, etc...

Okay somebody clue me in. If I own a pair of bootcut stretch jeans in a size 29, wouldn't i wear the same size in other bootcut stretch jeans? Or does every wash ift different and do they sometime change the rise and such on their jeans? I only own one pair of seven jeans. They are the basic bootcuts in either the nyd or new york medium. I am not sure. They are so soft and comfortable. I am trying to figure out if these would fit and feel the same, because that is what I want. Anyone help??

I would buy a sz 29
ttramell-

Do you think they will have the same fit as the ones i alread own? And why are these only $139? I thought crystals cost more.
I wish I could try these on. It's nice that they can be returned, but the delivery charge is $25! You have these, right?
