I turned them into skinnies I obviously have too much time...I've been posting pics like crazy lately. Anyway, I pulled out my sewing machine to hem some of my daughter's jeans and figured since I had it out, I might as well work on these Roths. Do you think they look okay?

This is how they originally looked:

And this is how they look now:

I'm not really into skinnys, but I like those
they don't even look altered

I like with the boots, but I'm one of the few stragglers who liked the original on your old post. Haha But you did a fabulous job altering them!

Excellent work, Antolette! Maybe I should send you my next pair of denims if I need altering, yes? =DDD

Yeah those look ALOT better!!!

Do want! I think you could go even skinnier from the knees down.

Did you manage to keep the hems in line as well? Cause when i did my alpha sigs the hems went slightly out of line lol but thats fine since i have to hem them anyway lol.

Those look fantastic Antolette! I like those way better as skinnies... If you get a chance can you give me an idea of how you did it? I have a bunch of pairs that I need to do and I'm so scared I'm going to mess them up!

Its pretty easy, I did it. You need to turn them inside out and measure how big you want the leg opening and then sew from the seam downwards but going inwards or straight down so you are making it straight leg or skinny, if you know what i mean? Start at the knee at the seam and then sew from that right down

I'll try to post pics later. I didn't measure though...I kind of just eye-balled it...the left leg is tighter than the other...lol. Like Annie said above, I probably could take them in a bit more at the knees. I haven't cut off any material yet, so I can still adjust if I need to. Lorna, the hems were a bit off since they are so flared. I did the fold method. It's so funny because I have all of this material at my sides and about four inches taken up at the hem, but you can't even tell
