Why are Moderators contributing to the drama?

Thread Starter
Not going to name names but why do we have Moderator(s) that are +1'ing posts that are negatively contributing to the forum?

To me, personally, Mods should be contributing ONLY positive things to the forum. I think very highly of the main person I'm talking about, but I think it's very unbecoming for a Mod to be contributing negatively to a forum that is trying to make a turn-a-round.

Opinions?

To sorta answer the question in your title: because people are allowed to disagree.

In Nazi-Germany such a thing would be the modus operandi, but in the post-1945 'free world', dissent and criticism from within is something that is accepted as being quite within the norm of any civilized community to promote discussion and perhaps provide answers to problems and root causes. You don't need a bunch of ass kissers and clit-lickers, nothing ever truly improves that way.

Oh, and sometimes it's only drama if you infer it to be 'drama'; sometimes it's just normal discourse.

Why does it bother you so much anyway?

I have to agree with the difference of opinion ^

Mods may be trying to make this forum great again, but they still may agree/disagree with ideals that may seem to be causing drama. One way to make a forum great is to illicit change, and no major changes have ever com ewithout their share of drama

I for one would want mods who have their own minds to be leading us, and not just those that follow the status quo ( I am a little biased as that is the way I think)

I find those that follow one main ideal without any personal thought or dissent at all, stunt growth and prevent positive change

because I disagree with a lot of of shitty things done in name of "saving" what is left of this forum.

We do. I think this unsolicited commentary on the behavior of the moderators stems more from ignorance of the facts than you trying to ask a genuine question. In my opinion, you're just contributing to the drama by trying to call us out on expressing opinions we're allowed to have. No where in the job description was I told I had to agree with every decision Dave made, or I wouldn't have taken it. If anything, using the "+" and "-" feature instead of mounting a full-on attack in a post is an excellent way to express an opinion without "adding to the drama." It's ridiculous to assume mods are contributing "negativity" to the forum by having an opinion.

Sandman, when you have been around long enough to see Josh's posts about his Jewish-ness, you can try to tell me I'm being offensive. JOKE. OBVIOUSLY.

And FYI, they're already a D-cup. But thankies.

ill be honest wif you that was VERY hurtful and i dont throw around "very" modifiers very often!

The joke got lost in translation for sandman. and Jewish doesn't always mean religious persuasion, sometimes it's ethnic too.

I agree
There is too much anti semitism and also anti islamic behavior in the world so sometimes I feel like I have to defend. Also as I see there is nothing to defend in here .Sorry

@begret: ???? (Do you mean drug dealing by government permission, then yes )

@dannysgirl: For real? are they really D-cup??? May I get a high-def close shot
post #18 of 26
Oh Sandman... I would NEVER say something like that seriously. I completely agree that there is too much anti-semitism in the world and only said that because it's something Josh jokes about frequently. I have many friends who are Jewish and my brother in law is Muslim, so trust me, I'm the LAST person who would make a seriously anti-ANY race/religion comment.

And yes... they are. We'll have to see about the close up though! haha.
