My man in his TRs

So I'm going around post whoring to try to help HF now

Here is my guy in his TRs, Joey in Duke. They are a bit big for him, but we shrank them a bit in the washer and dryer after this

big but fine because they are TR. I think when TR is worn too tight it looks really bad because of the large features. Diesel, SFAM = form fitting

TR= leave some room for the boys

love that style for sure, but i hope they did shrink abit in the wash look pretty baggy there. nice and basic pair of trues which are my fav!

I don't know where to begin with this. First of all, I respectfully disagree with your/his taste in fashion. This is one of the worst fits I've ever seen. It's at least 2 sizes to big.

In addition, distressing looks incredibly unnatural, contrast is too high, "honeycombs" are down by the calves, and the bootcut is so substantial that no shoes could possibly fill those out. And they need to be hemmed.

Ok, so we aren't all wearing dior homo [on that note, pocket flaps are way more effiminate than slim jeans imo] and cutting off circulation to the private areas. But really a pair of vikers would look way way way way better than these, or even a pair of zatiny.

Is everyone afraid to give out some decent advice/critique?

1) honeycombs should not be right at the back of your knees, natural ones fall lower anyways though I agree these are a bit low, but not as low as you make it sound
2) Yes they are a bit big, but I despise the whole fit like a glove on males, I think it just looks unmanly for a guy to wear slim cut tight fitted jeans. That is MY personal style. I refrain from going around the forums when I see guys wearing jeans like this and commenting on them, I don't bother, if they like it I don't care.
3) He has some diesel, he likes these better
4) He likes flares
5) and last......people like you are exactly why this forum has been sucking lately and part of why it has died and hasn't started back up. I don't care if you disagree with his sense of style or mine. Why bother posting negatively? You really think that will help anyone who might be lurking who is thinking about posting? I wasn't asking for opinions, I already said what I thought of them, this wasn't a post of "what do you think of my guy in his TRs"....Learn the difference on where to put your critism and where not to

those honeycombs are way way to far down that they're supposed to be. it does help some people, if they're looking for clarity on how people think about pants to big for others/them. this is honest forum, not dontpostwhatyouthink forum. you have to realize your going to get critiscm when posting pictures on the internet...........

As long as Guest's man is happy with the TR's, please refrain from posting negative comments. Personally I don't like guys wearing skin tight jeans either, but I don't attack members on fit of jeans and no one else should either!!

were not saying skin tight, just proper fitted jeans. not bashing it if he likes, were just posting our opinons which were aloud to. people should still have enough respect for the other, but sitll be able to argue/converse in a respective manner

I'm not saying skinny like Rocker by 7FAM skinny, but like size down by 2-3 would be a good fit..

I'm sorry, but I was so relieved to see UW's post. When I first saw the fronts on these I was so confused!! Was that electrical tape on the knee? And the back pockets are HUGE!!! I'm sorry, but even your sweet bf with the hot bod can't make these jeans work...for me...

And I'm sorry, in what way was UW's post being negative in the way you're accusing? OPINIONS are what keeps HF going. Personal attacks, like your response, are what drive people away. If you post a picture you should expect people to comment on it period. No one said they didn't like YOU!

The destruction details are part of the WASH. The black patches & white lines are part of that wash which makes it unique.

How did I make a personal attack? Opinions should be kept in threads that are asking for opinions, again *think* if a new lurker was watching this thread and decided NOT to post. There are places for the opinions. Do you know how many members that I know that have been very scared to post any pics because of the negativity? Yeah I guess their fear is pretty warrented then.

Yeah, I don't know how you can justify what you are saying guest. You have to understand people are going to criticize/compliment your pictures. If you don't want people criticizing what you post, than don't. I have come to realize people aren't trying to bash you at all, they are trying to give you/others advice so you don't walk outside and look like a idiot. Hopefully you can start to take criticism a bit better next time.

I know some people will argue that they have the right to criticize a thread if there are pictured posted, but no one has that right.

Unless the OP is looking for an honest opinion, then keep your negative comments to yourself!!! Everyone should have a right to post pictures without people putting in their $0.02 when it isn't warranted.
