I just copped a pair of A.P.C petite standard for 150 CAD, and a pair of Nudies Average Joes for 120 CAD. I couldn't believe how cheap they were so i had to get both of them together. I shall post pictures up A.S.A.P.

Edit: I have returned the Nudies.

A.P.C Standards



also i was wondering what would be the best way to wear them, stack them or roll em up?

banff, after wearing them for a day i am really surprised how fast i have been able to break that cardboard feeling. a good long walk and a 10min run on tread mill does the trick. has anybody else found it takes a long time to break apc in or is it just from what i have read?

its the same for most raw denim... that sweater and t-shirt you are wearing... must be destroyed, so ugly its not even funny. and the fits... look off. i dunno man.

hey, im not asking opinions on what else i am wearing, why would i destroy my lamb of god tshirt, i paid like 800 bucks to see them and metallica front row. but hey, to each its own, just not asking for criticism on my other clothing.

But to get back on topic, why do you think the fit looks weird?

i like the pockets on the nudies, but i do know there is a lot of haters towards nudies, but thats alright. i just want to buy a couple pairs for good price and see how they work and what not, before i buy a pair of diors, thats what 19cm is right?

I personally think they fit pretty good; I really really don't like skinny jeans on guys. The only reason the fit may look a little weird is because you're lifting up your shirt to give us a better view and it's hitting at an awkward place on the jeans. Nudie pockets are fine too; the only problem with fancy pockets on raw jeans is people are more likely to notice you've been wearing the same jeans every day for 6 months...

I would probably just stack the apc since you don't have to much extra length left over; but depending on your shoes and stuff it may just work better with cuffing. I've never worn apc, but I guess they're supposed to be easy to break in and fade fast; you could probably get better info from the apc thread though.

Good purchases IMO.

thanks hillary!, hopin to get all these neggers off of me. yeah thats greeneggs. they WERE brutally tight, but 2 days and 2 sleeps in them broke em in very good. and yeah i was lifting them up so that the whole jeans would show up. and thats EXACTLY what i think wit the fancy pockets, but im breaking my A.P.C's in right now so nudies will have to wait, maybe do each pair for a week each. but the A.P.C's are really breaking in nice, no fading as of yet (thank god) but wallet is coming through, and combs coming in nice. but yeah i tried to post in the A.P.C thread but not alot of responses there.

APC fit is better than Nudie fit based on the pics. As a matter of fact, I don't really like the way the Nudies fit at all. They have huge back pockets... and I'm not a fan of the design on them.

I would stack the APCs as opposed to cuffing. I've never been much for cuffing, though.

Keep those tops if you please, I guess, just don't ever wear them with these jeans. Or post pictures of them in your fits online, for that matter.

I've gotta say the NS fit is pretty good, nice regular fit. But I agree with Shoebox, the Nudies look like ass. Fit looks sloppy, and like shoebox said again, combined with the huge back pockets... I'm not feelin' the look.

the A.P.C i couldn't go any tighter on them, they were smallest size i could squeeze in and nudies were smallest size they had in that style, the rest were washed. you got some pretty sick shower curtains anthony, any way i posted these to show my new jeans not to be critiqued on the clothes that i barely wear. thanks for ur opinions thu, but i am attached to both of those pieces of clothing (as you can see by my post of the shirt earier)
but i am bored so here is 4 days of wear with 2 nights being slept in.




and yes thats a sonics pennat

that hoodie is a little wide and short on length, but i am also pulling my shirts up. so i dont know if thats making u assume that? i really dont know. but later on ill wear my more fitted shirts.

Sparknotes of what Anthony, Ron, and I are basically trying to say:

Don't wear loose fitting or bulky tops with slim/fitted pants. It makes you look disproportionate. Although I honestly don't like the sweatshirt or t-shirt at all so I would not condone wearing those in any manner whatsoever, but if you like it then whatever. We are just suggesting to keep slimmer fitting clothes together so you don't get that disproportionate look.

o ye man i no what u mean for sure, but i was just loafin around the house. i would never wear bigger shirts with tighter jeans. always wear something according to what my jeans are like. i would post what i wore today, fits those jeans better than my log shirt, but prob get on another rant about wearing hats, or shoes that i shouldn't be. w.e maybe i will

I think you might get more of a rant for posting progress pics after only 4 days of wear. There's something off with the outfit posted above as well. The sheen on the shirt throws off the whole outfit IMO.

i mostly had a black pea coat on all day, but hmm never noticed that. it could be that my light is RIGHt above me and the flash? i dont kno, n ye i said i was bored n posted it.

That and, if the shirt were just a couple shades lighter, it could look like you were wearing denim onesies

its actually a grizzlies license plate and yes i was but i saw these on sale when i was out in banff so i thought id pick them up. i am going to pick up a par of N&F when i have more money thu, since they have been out of my size for the last month
