Alexander McQueen for Target

Not sure if this is considered high-end since it has the word "Target" in the title, but I still love me some Alexander McQueen. Anyone excited about the collection for Target that comes out on March 4? You can preview the collection here.

This can be moved if it isn't uppity enough for the 'High End' section.

Well, McQueen is McQueen no matter what the price and the designer has talent no matter where he is sold.

I am sure that a lot of people "move up" after seeing some of the Target stuff, and trying it out.
I think it is a great strategy for both Target and the designers!

I just love being able to afford it! Although the Sigerson Morrison collections shoes weren't that great. The designs weren't bad, but the fit was horrible! The normal Target lines fit much better, IMO.

just to let everybody know, mcqueen is not designing a single thing for target...but a bunch of his interns will be.

not to say it wont be cool...its just not going to be mcqueen.

Presumably Alexander McQueen doesn't design every piece anyway. I imagine he/his regular design team will have to approve all the pieces before they hit Target, in any event.
