Thanks

I have had something like this happen to me before and there was nothing I could do about it it happend and it wasn't the sellers fault I guess if the seller had a history of doing things like that I would take a closer look but I have never never had anything like this happen before. It was the first time I used the schedule thing on ebay and when I canceled the jeans something must have happend because they showed up two weeks later. I guess If the seller explained what happened like I did the buyer would understand and as far as I know the buyer is ok I called her today and explained and she was ok.
I've sold over 500 items in eBay. Cancelled dozens. Never had anything like that happen to me. Have a few friends on eBay who've sold thousands of items and cancelled hundreds. Nothing ever happened like that. eBay says it is highly unlikely something like that happens... Strange. Perhaps you're telling the truth, but it's still shady.
I know I have sold almost 1500 \ with only three neg FB from people that tried to pull one over on me. I don't like to be fooled as well. I can assure you that what I said happened happened. Why would I make it up. I am sure it has happened to someone besides me. If I had a history of doing strange things I would expect it to be questioned, but I don't. I just want to clear my name that is all. I wouldn't want all my good feedback and hard work to be questioned when I had no control over what happened. I don't know exactly what happened. Thanks, Hiedi

Ah, this is just like Black Friday! Mwrroow!!! Hey, it was a pair of $5.00 jeans and it looked like something fishy was going on (if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck...) and, Hiedi, you would have reacted the same way.

Anyhow, it's a done deal, it's been explained, wounds are healing and everyone will be given discounts....

okay, wishful thinking on my part! it was worth a shot!

?? I am confused for a second how she just joined this forum or is she a member under another name?? I guess a lot of sellers are lurking here and see us trashing them. I wonder what Fion12 says about the stuff we write about her. I kind of feel bad now....

I look at it this way.....

It takes a lot for someone who is being "bashed" to come on & defend themselves. The manner in which they do it also says a lot about them. The sellers who do not take the time to defend themselves (that is if they visit here) also says a lot about them. In the instance of Fion12 it wouldn't do anything but stir up more crap b/c she isn't a very honest & trustworthy person. There isn't a whole lot she could say that would help her. Besides if the shoe fits...... This forum is designed to help those of us who want authentic clothing from good honest people. Don't feel bad for providing truthful information about shady sellers.

I'd say it's more likely that a 3rd party member/lurker here is emailing the sellers we talk about and showing them the threads. Common phenomenon on any online message board (happens all the time on the eBay help boards... someone posts a thread about a bad transaction with so-and-so, and some troll-esque type poster emails the seller and invites them to the thread so they can watch the fireworks).

Don't worry about it. I am glad someone told me about this site. I find a ton of great jeans, and if you guys want to know about them before I put them on ebay let me know. I can assure you there will be NO $5 jeans

Ok, so I definitely though that this thread was going to get really nasty, but it looks like the issue has been pretty much resolved. Wow! I'm impressed!

Ok, this is how I see it......

Yes, it looked suspicious that after ttramell won jeans for $5 they were suddenly not available.

At first glance, the other pair of jeans hiediandbob listed looked like they could be the same pair that ttramell had won, but now I see that they're not.

Hiediandbob, take this as a lesson learned about scheduled listings, ebay, etc. I'm sure that if you put yourself in the buyers shoes, you can understand where we're coming from. We were upset because we throught you just didn't want to sell the jeans for $5 and you were giving us some bullsh*t story.

It's not easy to come here and defend yourself against a bunch of 7FAM junkies, so I give hiediandbob credit! Getting a good deal to us is like winning the lottery, so we tend to get a little crazy! No one wantes to feel like they are being scammed, but now that everything has been explained I believe that hiediandbob is telling the truth. Let's end the bickering and move on.

That's my 2 cents!
