Many of you may have heard of Corter leather, he makes custom leather goods ( ie wallets, belts, cell phone cases ect) and is highly respected for his attention to detail. He has built up a loyal following at SuFu, which made me decide to order a custom wallet from him
The waiting list was rather huge, I waited over 2 months just to be able to get my place in line. Then over a week to make it, and I awaited delivery. There was a mixup of some sort ( 2 months more and no wallet), Eric was polite and made me another wallet and shipped it out no questions asked.
He also threw in a free custom made belt for the trouble/time wasted
He is truly a standup guy, and I feel the least I can do is show off some of his work.
The stitching and build quality is top notch, and I know the black detailing may look a bit out of place/tacky, but remember with constant wear this will be a much darker shade of brown after I oil it and wear the crap out of it.
By then the difference wont be so stark
And considering a flathead or redmoon wallet will run you $260 and $300 respectively and up, I scored a great deal for a measly $135. My freind has a redmoon wallet and I honestly cant see much of a noticable difference in quality, mind you I still have to own it for more then a day
