Steal. Someone (cez?) cop
A steal if you live in the states. But for europeans, after shipping + custom fees/import duties + VAT this ends up like all the other UK deals on eBay e.g.

actually I love uk deals. Obviously you have to arrange postage before bidding. No customs from inside the EU. Here in Austria there is also a custom free amount for packages that's higher than a year ago.

Also, got a pair of N.D.C shoes for 130 $ from the US, correctly delared on the outside of the package...no customs. Lucky me? Perhaps we don't have that much custom officers here so that they cannot check every package.

Damn thats a good price. I was going to cop them back when they were 250, but I need a 9-9.5. I found a pair over at SF for $250, but honestly as much as I like them I doubt I would get much wear out of them and for a few bucks more I could just cop the NDC's that I REALLY want. The two pairs of NDC's I posted a few pages back in the boots & shoes thread, actually. I think they are more versatile and fit my style more than the timurs which I would probably wear less often. I'm also starting to feel slightly insecure about wearing black shoes with denim.

I've been looking at them since Christmas and SSense finally reduced them by 30% and Yoox has a pair a decent price. I wish I didn't have to buy from two separate places though. I've managed to find a free shipping code for Ssense, but nothing for Yoox. Would love some help if anyone has any codes.

The Timurs are very much grey... not at all black

And they have UK8 (US9) --- isn't that what you want? lol
post #235 of 858
lol, I wish a UK8 would do. I actually need a UK 9 ( I wear a US size 10.5) and based on research have come to the conclusion that they run at most .5 size bigger.

I know they are not black. I was going to go back and edit, but got lazy. Don't get me wrong the gray is awesome and had it been last week I probably would have pulled the trigger, but after careful consideration I realize that aesthetics wise they go with like 5% of my wardrobe whereas 80-90% would go well with brown. I will probably kick myself later. Actually I know I will.

so how is timurs compare to yorks ?? are they as good\? and is shape is different from yorks? good for thanaz??

all the thanaz guys would you wear timurs?
^they look a tad more "pointy" (never seen them IRL thouugh)
I think they'd look good with thanaz
Quality wise I would say they are the same. The yorks have slightly thicker soles and are wider. I see the timurs as a more dressy pair. The narrow toe does make them look longer when paired with thanaz, depending on how skinny your thanaz fit. The color is super versatile though. Currently I think they look good with 90% of my denim collection.

Did you get those NDC yet? I am looking at trying to cop the gianni boots in a 42.-43, but can only find them in 42. Just curious as to how the fit is compared to the Timurs.
Not yet, but they did get shipped out already.

If its too good to be true it probably is....
lol, didn't you guys read the description? the brand is nadien(probably generic), the seller just put the names of all the other brands to indicate that they are similar in style.
lol, good point. I thought they were Carpe Diem, actually.
