Great Finds (on Ebay and online sites) - Page 8

^ They're not actually from the Luster collection. The seller just compares them to Hedi's Luster collection. I am pretty sure they came out along the same time as the other waxing moons did... so like AW08 or whatever.

Ahhh that makes since (w/ how mint they are, ect..) thanks for the info ^^

for real? every pair of diors in W29 I tried on was completely impossible to button, and I mean COMPLETELY...

^^ Remember the name now: Bolt From The Blue

^Aldo: I guess those would stretch enough for you. I have those in a 29 as well and I could easily go for a 28. I had both sizes and the 28 felt much too tight and was almost impossible to button (top button felt like bursting off, when buttoned), so I went with the 29, that felt really tight as well. I guess it could work for you as you fit into the Day After Day in a size 30 and the Dawn Of An Era seem to stretch a lot more, plus we are normally 1 (sometimes 2) sizes apart. It could be though, that you are right in between a 29 and 30 in those.

I guess you arent really interested, as you bought a lot of denim recently. And again: If I had thought that you were really interested, I would have pmed the listing to you to avoid other curious eyes...

Imo Great summer denim and great wash, anyways.

hehe you're smart man

anyway
thanks for all the info
to give you another reference, when I tried on the Day Offs I bought for you, it was completely impossible for me to button them (from the very first button)
same for a pair of new emperors in W29 I tried some time ago

and you're probably right, I like Dawn Of An era but not enough to justify spending 250 euros on them

oh and btw, I bought a lot of denim lately, but as you'll understand, it's difficult to stop eheh, so I appreciate your effort to keep me updated, thanks!

definetely, I have to sell some pair
first in list are two pairs of safado

still trying to find time (and will) to take some decent pics...

p.s. I have to update you as well, I went to the outlet last saturday, and really nothing interesting
day offs dropped to 139 Euros, but in W36...

Are this red selvage worth for this price? I found only bad opinions here... Pls. respond quick (btw. I don't own any DH yet, so this could be my cheap start pair)...

Opinions differ. Its hated here, but liked on other forums. For that price its good imo. But keep in mind that those (in contrast to the higher quality ones) bleed a lot. Not bad on shirts and other washable stuff (its washing off easily), but annoying on shoes.

those are nice
I probably would have liked them better without stitching on the toe, but I'm tempted
quite sure they'd be too big though
zdenal: when I tried on Red Selvage, I didn't feel them at all...
thx for info. I don't buy it and wait for some better pair.

Last one is probarbly a washed out older Clawmark or Used Denim. Stay away, I am prolly going to buy those
post #193 of 858
how much do you think those umc's will go for?
Hard to tell. Between 450 and 600 USD probarbly. But on eBay you'll never know before the end of the auction. I have seen better versions go for less and worse/more worn ones for more.

I went to another outlet today (lots of dior jeans, nothing you'd be interested in your size tho, sorry...)
and I tried a pair of Dawn Of An Era in W30
and god, they were def too big!
Don't understand measures between the two 28 diors : one in 37,5cm at the waist, the other 40cm...
I never know which size to look for when it comes to dior.
But I have an MIJ size 28..waist is 39/40cm and fit is snug...

UMC look so damn hot...
^and the 08 version is the worst imo
07 and 09 look better
Evil: Just curious, what sizes did they have at the outlet?
damn I wish ther was a Dior outlet in Chicago.. let me know if you come across anything decent in a 30 there that you already have if its a good deal
post #200 of 858
^it's not a Dior outlet, it's a generic outlet that carries high end stuff
well, darnoc dawn of an era was available in W30 if you're interested, but keep in mind it runs big
then a light grey pair in 19cm (don't know the name, but not mist, nor dauphin, nor sheer)

and they had a lot of sizes at the outlet, mainly W30 and up
day offs in W33
dawn of an era W32
some white denimz various sizes
