My Petit Standards just came in and I have a few questions/concerns.
I know that with the New Standards you're supposed to size down to the point where you can't button the top button and MAYBE the top two buttons, but I've heard that the Petit Standards don't follow the same rules that apply to the NS?
At the moment I'm wearing them in size 30 and they fit snugly around my waist, basically like a perfect fit. They're tight around the honeycombs at the moment and they're extremely stiff, but I expect that will change soon. My question is, if I'm satisfied with the way they fit now, then does that mean that I won't be satisfied with the way they'll fit in a couple months? I'm looking for a slightly more relaxed fit, but not New Standards style. Are these worth keeping or should I return them and size down a little bit more?
