8BI
I bought a pair from this French guy last month and they were great, so I just bought another pair (I waited more than a year to find these). He has:
31x32
31x34
32x34

8EU
Italiandenim has lots of 8EU:
30x34
32x32
32x34

8IT
This German dude has some 8IT. I want to buy a pair but not sure how the euro sizing differs from US (an allegation was made about this):
28x32
30x32

8HL
31x32

8BK
29x32

8AC
29x34

61E
32x32

8DD
26x30
I have contacted the french guy with 8BI and he wants $160 a pair.. which seems kinda pricey..

i'm willing to pay $160 for a pair of 8aa in my size anyday and 8bi cost even more than 8aa.

Orly? Guess I got a bargain considering I paid less for my 8BI than my 8AA. No complaints either way considering both are really bad ass and equally hard to come by.

You got a total bargain. You should have paid $4,000 for your 8AAs - such an impossibly rare size.

Funny - We've become the Trouleg hypemen.

^im just sorely disappointed that they didnt have a re-release

I'm sorely disappointed that they didn't just continue the cut. No justice - Zathan has become a bona-fide zombie cut, Zaghor gets tons of exposure yet Trouleg is left to wilt in the denim scrap-heap.

I think Trouleg was ahead of the curve and generally misunderstood. If they gave it another go I think you'd see more and more post-Zathan converts getting hooked.

I guess the good thing is that there's no chance of me building-up a ridiculous, regrettable mound of Troulegs like I did my Zathans.

No Bull. I waited for ever for these.

Piers is the fukin man. He could have inflated the shit out of these, but instead did me a solid and sold to me for a fair price. That in itself if rare thing. I wish we had more member like him around these parts. That my friends is what the HF should be about, helping one another. Not trying to make a buck.

Thanks again Piers. I owe you big time.

they retailed for $260, so i think it's a fair price. i bought a pair from him about a month ago and i love them. i'd been looking for a new pair of 8BI for over a year. i've just bought another pair from him.

cez, i'm really glad they found such a good home, especially after grondie's absolutely outrageous rejection of them

Yep, this sounds right. No, they don't stretch out much. The waist on 8IT does seem disproportionately large... i sized down for mine and the waist is still too big, but they are rather tight around the thighs.
what size are you? can somebody with a size 28 or 29 8it measure the thighs for me?

That's some serious facepalm shit right there.

I've seen some great Diesels go for next to nothing on Ebay.de

Gave those once-washed yet very faded Trouleg 8EUs a Black Rit Dye treatment this afternoon. I'm still waiting for them to dry out but I think they're gonna look spiffy.

The thighs on my 29's are fairly snug but the hips and waist are a bit big in comparison. I'll get you some measurements tomorrow.

post pics! My 8eu's could use a bit of a treatment. No need to break out a backup pair just yet

I'll post some photos tomorrow. So far it looks like the $5 was totally worth it.

Here's the before & after of my 8EU overdye experiment. For what little effort it took the results are awesome. They appear more like Trouleg 41L than anything else now.

looking good. seems to add a bit of depth to a rather dull wash
post #225 of 420
Wow, they look great. I've always wonder how re-dyeing denim would turn out. I may have to take a stab at it with some my beaters. Did you do it in your sink or a large pot?
