Definitely buy. I think they retailed for $180 or $200 originally. Doesn't matter - They're becoming scarce, so if it's in your size jump on it.

Ya it's the LAST pair.. I'm gonna do it, I called another outlet and they were selling them for $180! Rediculous.

* and does anyone know if Trouleg 8IT runs long? I know I should size down in the waist but if I take a 34 length would the 32 in 8IT fit?

8it runs SUUUUUPER long. L32 on 8it will run about 35" or so

I'm only keeping this thread alive because this forum is so utterly bland now that I need a reason to visit. And I'm bored and have nothing better to do. In my fruitless search for 30x32 8DK i noticed that there were a number of NWT troulegs loafing around eBay in reasonable sizes.

I bought a pair from this French guy last month and they were great, so I just bought another pair (I waited more than a year to find these). He has:

This German dude has some 8IT. I want to buy a pair but not sure how the euro sizing differs from US (an allegation was made about this):

i did a normal search on ebay.co.uk. some of these euro guys don't list shipping to the US, which is why it won't come up on an ebay.com search. i'm sure they'll ship to the US if you message them

seems price is bit cheaper than other places..

Yeah how about those 8AA? (frown face)

I've been wearing my size 32 8AAs almost every other day and they haven't gone baggy as I originally feared. I've yet to wash them, so I think they'll shrink up to perfect after a short stint in the dryer. Looks like we both got the right size.

By the way Cez - what do you think about tub-washing 8AA? A worthwhile effort?

Thanks Piers, I absolutely love my Trouleg 8AA. Hands down the best Diesels I've ever owned. I really regret not coping those 8EU's.

I must be crazy or maybe I wear more often, but they have stretched in the waist, not much in the thigh or calfs, but for sure in the waist and seat. It could also be that I dropped a few pounds since last Xmas. Either way sizing down is out of the question. I highly doubt I'd fit my massive thighs and calfs into a 30w.

Grondie-I have yet to wash these bad boys, but if came down to having to give them a soak I would probably choose to go the bath tub route. For now I think I'll wait until they can stand on their own two legs.

BTW have you experienced much fading or bleeding? I remember a few people saying that the 8AA bled a lot, but I have yet to experience any of that.

I haven't experienced any fading or bleeding. I haven't worn my 8AAs with any white sneakers though, so I imagine that it's possible given the right conditions, color, humidity... I never experienced it with Zathan 8AA either, and I wore that with white kicks all the time.

My Trouleg 8AAs have definitely become my favorite Diesels - to such an extreme degree that they're just choking out everything else, even my other Troulegs. I just wish that I got the memo two years ago - now it's like I'm making up for lost time.

8EU has definitely become my second most worn pair behind 8AA. It's not really a good wash - I've laundered them once and they're noticeably faded despite being run cold with Woolite Dark. But the fit - the fit - is spot-on perfect. I plan to dye them with Rit Dye just to get some of the darkness back.

As for 8AA stretch - The waist and seat have definitely given far more than any other part of jeans, and everything else is roughly the same as it was after the 3rd wear - so I think we're experiencing the same stretch factor. We'll have to compare after a few months to see if either of us has noticeable "progress" in the fades department.

On a sidenote - It's amazing how much this wash changes after it's been washed and worn several times. I have a used pair of Trouleg 8AA that comes from the same lab on the same day but looks really different from the unwashed pair. Most distinct is that the new pair has a real sheen to it, and the washed pair is completely dull.

No, I want. Generally, hard to find. There were a couple on ebay recently - in size 31 of all things. But they're generally a rare sight.
