^Yeah, mine also came out lighter, they are now about the same shade of black/grey as the Trouleg 89S that is still hanging around unworn in my closet. Yet the 89S is much softer feeling. Somehow I have the impression that 89S is the same fabric as 8EU but with additional softening treatments.

still looking for a trouleg 8it and 8aa in a size 31!

Agreed on the 8eu's. They don't age well. Even one wash will do a number on them. 89s holds its color the best of all the black Trouleg's in my opinion. 89s is pretty rare for Trouleg. However, Trouleg 89z is the rarest bird of them all. Glad I have a pair Actually, I think only 2 people on this board have a pair

I do like the 89z, better than the 8DD that's for sure. They basically look the same. Is the 89z a stretch? I'm gonna attempt to find it.. and i've found the 8BI but it's waist size too small.. but i'm gonna try and stretch it.. any tips?
And if anyone comes across 89z in 31X34 let me know!

89z is not a stretch and i can tell you that they're impossible to find. if you need to stretch your jeans, try one of these:

Nervous, do you have trouleg 8II as well?

Trouleg 89z is something you will NEVER find. I mean never. Don't waste your time. It was a Europe only release during the first season of Trouleg. Even though Diesel's site had pics of Trouleg 89z, nobody on this board was even aware they existed! FYI: 89z runs tighter than most any wash out there as well. The fuckers are rigid as hell too! They won't stretch much, no matter the effort. I speak from experience as I got my 89z a size down from normal (w28 because I wanted them sooooo bad. Painful idea on my part. You'd almost certainly want to get a size up in the waist for 89z. No matter though, you'll probably never see a pair for sale. Oh yeah, 89z and 8dd look the same? In a word, NO! I'll post comparision pics if need be. Just TRUST though.

Piers, I don't have the 8ii, or Trouleg 73c. Never heard of that one have ya? I think the 8ii was listed incorrectly by that seller. It looked nothing like other 8ii I've seen on other cuts. Per a member here with experience with the seller, I know they only deal with authentics. Since all that was available was a w28, I passed on them, reluctantly I was a bit gun shy after my 89z w28 adventure. In retrospect, I should've just bought them

Now that I think about it, Trouleg 73c is the rarest Trouleg of all. Europe only relese and never in any Diesel stores. It was spotted by a member in Paris at some random boutique. I had a friend in Paris try to grab me a pair but they were out of my size

@ Ace. Cheers on that waist stretcher. I may get one specifically for my 89z. The waist is the only thing I couldn't really stretch out. They don't get much run as a result

you're probably right, but it does seem that some troulegs only showed up in mainland europe. i remember someone else saying that trouleg 8it in France was sized differently to the US release. for all we know, there could be others out there...

@ Sandman - Ordered shit from them before. Great service and prices, if you find something that isn't totally hideous. Which ismost of the stuff on their site, in my opinion. They really don't have any good sizes either. Perhaps it'll help someone out though. Cheers

Piers - It was proly Stevie that sad that. He had a pair he got in France and I was a proxy for him on a US pair that he ended up selling as they didn't fit. I'm sure there are one or two washes we've never seen floating around out there. I've still never seen pics of the Trouleg 73c, but they do exist. Fuck! I'm really starting to regret not getting those 8ii or whatever the hell they were

I've never seen any. You can find pics of Larkee 73c though. I never bought the 8ac as I couldn't see myself wearing them. If I find them for cheap enough I may buy them just to have them, but that'd be kinda stupid

I found a pair of 8DK. is $128 a good price though? anyone know how much they retailed for originally?..

Looks like I was lucky finding them in my size a few month ago. Lucky me because the seller doesn't know what he was selling. So I got them NWT for 50 Euro shipped. It's a great pair and it replaced my "wrong" buy 8BK size W32L32. I tried wearing these 8BK with L32 but they were a bit too short to cover my boots properly.

89Z is a great wash in terms of color and stiffness.
