Seven Flares - anyone seen this symbol?

I just bought these Sevens, seeing as the seller seems to be highly reputable and even when I tried them on I loved them:

Upon closer examination, I realized that the name and symbols on them are not "7" but instead are of a pair of jeans (take a look at the closeups). Everything else about them appears to be authentic Sevens. Any thoughts or tips on this would be much appreciated.

Seven symbol

Hi,

Just this evening I was looking at my authentic Seven Jeans (purchsed from Nordstroms last year) to compare to a pair I suspect to be fake (purchased from ebay recently) and I noticed the same "pair of jeans" symbol on my authentic Sevens (Bootcut style #U075019U cut # 97550). Maybe some of the older styles have this symbol? Hope this helps

If you read selzi's page you will see that she states that older SFAM jeans have the pr of jeans instead of the 7
