Wearing True Religion is gay?

Thread Starter
Hi guys, I 'm studying English in New York from Korea.

Actually, I like jeans like Diesel , True Religion and I have some pair of jeans in my closet.

however, I heard strange conversation that if a man wear True Religion , he must be gay.

Since I heard that conversation, I cannot go Manhattan with wearing True Religion..
(Of course , I wear TR when go to School)

Many people say like that.

Is it true? or not?
Please tell me , and save my True Religion

I hope you are joking?

Wearing TR as a man, does not indicate you are gay...

Excellent first post.

Wearing True Religion does not make you gay, it does turn you into Sylar from Heroes though.

If the TR looks good on you (I don't see much guys it looks good on) then continue wearing it.

A huge population of guys at my college must be gay because TR is popular in Calgary. No brand makes a person more gay imo, and just wear what looks and fits best!!

This straight woman wears TR

Give me a break. If you like them, wear them. Who cares.

Its funny, because true religion mens cuts are essentially IDENTICAL to the womens cuts (bigger pockets and larger sizes). But when people bring up men wearing womens jeans people are like "EW! That's so gay!"

Hehe, funny post. I think that some of the flashier styles might be seen as less masculine than others - like the rainbow pockets. I like men in TR but I do like the more basic understated styles for men.

ehhh i think that TR is a little bit more feminine than other designer jeans. 7's, diesel and R&R all have mens styles that are a lot different than womens. TR look very alike for men/women

u people are funny...
they arent feminine..in fact the average person would consider tight fitting jeans to be somewhat feminine..
TR tend to run and are worn a bit bigger..
I have quite a few diesels and TR...i like both and others as well.
i dont feel a need to knock something i dont wear....like RnR..
cant get a fit that makes me wannna drop 200.....
they dont look good on me...imo...so i dont buy em...

According to Shopbop:
Quote:
Created by husband and wife duo Jeffrey and Kym Lubell, True Religion combines his love of classic rock and her hip-hop and R&B style to produce a trendsetting line made to exceed all expectations of denim. The company was established in 2002 with a goal to take denim in a refreshing new direction. Since then, the line has become known for its intense attention to detail, especially in its fashion-forward seams and innovative hand-sanded vintage washes.

here's the issue.

clothing is a personal expression of the person wearing said clothing.

NOTHING determines sexuality except with whom you desire to have sexual intercourse with. That's it.

If I were to go into the mall wearing a pink boa and lace pantihose with a mid drift, I may be PERCEIVED as gay but it doesn't MAKE me gay.

PERIOD.

It is so annoying how people are so paranoid someone might think they are gay!!! I do not understand why people fear wearing what they like over a stereotype.
cout wouldnt be paranoid, would be self consious. but god this thread should be locked lawl
post #24 of 29
mulatto is a very derogatory term, so if there's anyone who has made this thread lock-able, it's you.
^It's not derogatory it's simple descriptive,

mulatto - Definition from the Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary

to quote a modern day classic

"Here we are now
Entertain us
A mulatto
An albino
A mosquito
My libido
Yea"
