I like this place and a great many of its members. We need both the bleeding hearts and the loud mouth posters to keep this place running on an even keel.

It would be dull as all hell without witty retorts and interesting people, and I think we may have been too quick to ban in the past...

#1 - I think that the CHAT section should become "the enter @ ur own risk" section, in the other forum that i frequent, that's the way it is! I think people here are way too sensitive & if you think that its a free for all over there, its not! some people go a lil overboard, but you very rarely see a full-on flame war

#2 - Thats a good idea

#3 - Yes, please delete & i cant stress this enough... every section "MUST HAVE" an Authenticity Superthread to de-clutter all Auth Checks. i checked the TR or 7 section a while back & was blown away that out of the 25 threads or so, at least 20 were Auth Checks

#4 - Yes

#5 - Definitely a Yes

#6 - Yes, the Old Mall was way better

#7 - Depends on which brands are put together

Agreed, keep all the stuff simple. If nothing else, it will make the other forums "look" busier.

I don't know about the Balla status forum. Are we talking like Gucci is dogshit? What are there three people here that can spend $3,000 on a leather jacket? It might cause some separation and make people with normal stuff feel "inadequate".

^ I pretty much agree with your ideas except for:
-Bringing back the old mall (I like the new one better)
-Giving people a longer leash. (the leash seems pretty long right now)

Making the rules clear and consistent will help keep people from whining about how unfair everything is (I hope).
Personally I like an EAYOR section. I love reading the drama, I just don't like being a part of it. The only thing that bothers me is when people get ganged up on by several members.

I love the idea of a free for all, enter at your own risk section. I think the people who feel they are being "bullied" are, as a general rule, not the people who contribute to the site as a whole. Of course, the reason the don't post may be because they're afraid of the response...but seriously, the people who are complained about most are also the backbone of this forum- with a few exceptions. I realize there are people like Ryan, Jayme, Spence, Julz who aren't a part of the drama ever. But think about how much conversation there has been on the site since the ACO/JSkidder/whoever the other guy was thread.

Also, I would like to point out that a couple of years ago, NotfrostyJoshypoo was someone who was somewhat disliked by the mods and put on a ban, I think. I remember reading something about it from way back in the day. Now look at him, he's one of (my) favorite members and posts in almost every thread. We have to consider that even though Sevenkid can be kind of *rude* it's not like he's sitting there wishing death on the person he's mocking. I think he brings more laughs than tears...

Point being, let the forum run itself. It's been dead around here for too long and I don't think the reason is because of "mean members." I think it's because we are a big group of people, and without some sort of conflict, there's only so many conversations about fashion/jeans/shoes/WAYWT before we all just get lives and stop posting.

Do me a favor and get out of my head, there is far too little room for both of us in there

That is exactly what I think will make this forum run well, let the mob deal with the trolls ( to a point of course). All of the rude/crass people get called out almost all the time, it all balances out. And for the extreme cases, we will step in
