I'm a small person... what can I say. Not entirely by choice... but it doesn't help that I'm asian and my parents are tiny (even smaller than me)

sounds good i myself am still looking for a peacoat, and was considering a sterlingwear in 32R, its cold as hell here in canada. Whats your weight and height btw? i am a small asian guy too.

Dang - Tony, sorry I didn't get you those measurements before you ordered.

Was it a custom order? If not, you can return it no sweat. You should be fine in a 32, but I would have gone for a 32R or even 32L if I were you.

I got my 32S on Friday. I think it fits pretty well... it was just a tad bit snug feeling in the chest though, but I don't think it's too bad. I just know I can't really wear anything thicker than a thin sweater or cardigan underneath it without feeling really constricted. The length seems about perfect. I will post up some pics when I get back to my dorm where my tripod is, so I can actually produce some worthwhile pictures again (as opposed to mirror pics which I hate).

And @ ross: nope it wasn't a custom order... just a plain ol' 32S Classic in Black.


Edit: blindr... I'm around 5'4" and 125 lbs or so and got the 32S. It's pretty short but I believe it fits me correctly. If you want a little extra length, though, I would go with R. The coat is ridiculously warm, though... so I'm really pleased with that. The weather in Iowa has been extremely cold lately (last I checked it was -12° with a -34° wind chill) and the coat has held up very well and kept my body totally warm (my face is another story, however).

How about this Peacoat or Trench coat from Superdry ? http://www.superdrystore.com/view/20279/Carter-mac/

I've tried it today, it fits really slim in sleeves. A few thinks irritates meon it, like that orange badge on a sleeve.

that looks damn good tony..better than mine i must say

but i think it could be longer all around and especially in the arm length. but regardless it looks excellent. how tight are the pits? can you only fit a tee on under? lol

^ Yeah it could probably be a little longer but I think the R would be a little too long perhaps, according to the measurements.

The pits are pretty tight. I can wear thin sweaters and cardis and stuff underneath... but that's about it.

I dunno about being too long. I feel like a little extra length for a slim-fitting pea coat would be a good thing.

I suppose everyone is built differently, but I know if I tried on a small I would just look like an ostrich. I will be picking another one of these up in 34L soon.

^ Hahah yeah. If I have to buy another one once I can no longer fit into this one, I will grab an R. But I think this one fits pretty well, despite it being a touch on the shorter side.
