Anybody heard of this style?? It was only sold in Japan if I'm not mistaken. Any experience with it?? Thanks.

I had a pair. They're a more lightweight denim that stretches easily (no spandex, tho). Lots of streaking, in addition to whiskering, including these weird diagonal hash marks down the legs.

I ended up selling 'em on eBay.

These were all over Nordstrom Racks over a year ago.

They are pretty nice if you like the zaf cut... like cutup mentioned they are japanese denim. I saw them in person a long time ago at a Diesel outlet and really liked them. The denim was really soft and high quality but the streaks might be too much for some people.

Yeah, I think this is one of those hate 'em or love 'em kind of washes... the streaks can definitely be a bit over the top for some.

What kind of cut is the Diesel Zaf 86x??

I saw a seller on ebay which says it's baggy but others have stated it's slim boot cut. Which is it?

ZAFS are looser in the thigh then most Diesel jeans, they have a large flare ( not a bootcut), and the 86X wash will stretch quite easily

It may appear slim to someone who has never worn fitted jeans before, but in terms of a comparison to other Diesel cuts, its almost as loose as they come ( aside from Quratt and a few others)

This is a love it or hate it wash but it does feel nice and rich.

I got them for $50 at the Rack years ago, and loved them but like most of my never use it anymore pairs they belongs to someone in Costa Rica now. Great wash and great material, but too much for today raw or minimal distressings standars.

I'm actually wearing a pair of zaf 86x right now. Zaf's are comparatively loose to other diesel cuts and the 86x pair i have stretched quite a bit. I've got a pair of 32x32 and the rust, distressing and whiskering on my pair is quite nice. They fit like any other zaf cut i've got except for the stretching. My 796's have not stretched anywhere near as much as this pair of 86x i have. These aren't as rusty as the zathan washes like 764 or 82H, but still look pretty good. If ya like'm get'm, the comfort wont' be an issue, but ya may not like the distressing.
