paypal dispute help - Page 2

I filed a chargeback on my AE and paypal locked my account a few weeks later.

and collections came after you for a credit card chargeback? I didn't think they could do that if you paid with a CC. Seeing as your CC company sided with you and gave you back the money.

correct, they basically sold the debt to the collection agency. the credit card company didn't come after me, paypal did. AE has been on my side the whole time.

so i saw on my paypal that there is a transaction coming from my bank account to paypal of the money i "owe" for the open dispute. i didnt know they can just dip into you account like that without notifying you or asking.

yeah they can, if you read the 50 pages of TOS they can certainly withdraw from your bank account in a matter like this. Usually people (or scammers) who go negative on their paypal clean out their bank account associated with paypal and shut it down.

not worth it over $100 or something. Some sell like 300 iphones they don't own before paypal catches on to the INR disputes and they suspend them, by that time the seller gets away with murder.

I think this is illegal. You didn't authorize this type of transaction..... unless there is some sort of clause in the terms and conditions that say paypal could do that.....
