giuliani is a piece of shit. so is palin, and so is mccain. who the fuck is palin to criticize obama's lack of executive/political experience. This woman was a nobody who had two phone calls with mccain and overnight she thinks she's somebody. what a joke.

^DUDE! You're speaking ill of the governor of Alaska. They're our first line of defense against Russia. Well, I mean, if Russia attacked by swimming over into the frozen waters of Alaska.

What would get Obama a lot of respect, at least in my opinion, is if he came back with nothing but kept working his campaigning and letting everyone out there know exactly what he plans on doing. I am getting a little tired of the back-and-forth BS.

oh my, did anyone hear P Diddy's words of wisdom on the subject? As if "I wanna work for Diddy" wasnt bad enough, he goes and opens his mouth.

P. Diddy's Alaska outrage - Video - www.real.com

my favorite: "What is the reality in Alaska? There isn't even any crackheads in Alaska..."

Wow, that guy is an absolute jack ass.

Angelx-thank you, you've just shown why we should disregard any of your future posts in this thread.

If you're going to attack someone, at least avoid the name calling and make an argument that actually makes sense.

Anyone who votes for republicans now is a f*cktard..

Bringing a 6 months baby to a place like that ? With all the noise and such ? Wow.. The whole scene was a pure set-up! The perfect american family, dressed like in the 50s.. This was depressing

I'd shotgun that b*tch right away...

Palin belongs to a group that wants Alaska to succeed from the US. Evidently she a believes in States Rights, which we all know is code words for something else entirely.

and yet one more reason why politics just cant be discussed on HF... if everyone here could be respectful and voice reasonable facts and arguments ( like sooo many other hfers have done) it would be cool.. but a few bad apples cant get their judgemental opinions out of it.

anyway guess I am proud to be a f*cktard...

how disrespectful for you to write that you would "shotgun a b*tch right a way"

I may not agree with many of the politics, specifically in regards to finance, foreign policy of Obama but I certainly don't want to shotgun him, or any members of his family or political affiliation

how sad that you felt the need to put your flame suit on and go off like a crazy person

part of being an adult is being able to express your opinion in a calm and rational way

Please Grow UP!!!!

ETA: because I am so fired up and your ridiculous statement I had to come back... if Biden or Obama had a 6month old baby I assure they would be right there too.. it was the night of Palin's speech, her night to showcase the family... something every single politician does no matter what party.. and further lord forbid she had a caretaker back stage watching her infant son , and then the media and liberals would have flamed her for being a bad mother and accused her of being a bad parent who leaves her child n the care of others!!!!

+1, JD. well said

The whole political process makes me vomit. It's all about master salespeople with state of the art advertising agencies...it's about speech writers... It's about marketing research and strategizing. It's about quid pro quo and NIMBY (not in my backyard)....it's about winning a game..not about leadership or governement..

I'm extremely happy that the revival meetings are over,

^^^Well said, JD, as well. A true lady.

Political discussions seem to go haywire in a bad way.
That's why I don't post in them often.
Also, as an almost 50 year old person, my take on things is certainly from a different perspective as well.
I am registered as an Independent, but some of my best friends are Democrats and Republicans (and Other) .

p.s. glad to see you around, avatar

that convention make me wanna do terrible and sticky things to palin's oldest daughter

you'd think twice if you saw Palin's Moose rifle
post #94 of 337
my moose rifle is bigger

Well, it could have been worse, we almost had a woman as our president.

Bring on the negs, I don't mind.

You see, the point is that she used such a degrading technique just to catch her supporter attention. When you're ready to use your own trisomic infant in order to get people on your side, that only means you care about own image and you're ready to do any sacrifice, like not caring about your child health or trauma he could develop from being in a place so noisy just to show him off in front of media for gratitude or even pity. What's next? I don't want to know...

no hard feelings SC.
We'll see in 4 years if McCain takes presidency..

Oh I've got more...

The U.S spends more on immigration in a year than we have on the entire war. The government spends 2% more revenue on our people for healthcare than your country does. And you wonder why people want to come to the USA!! I know for a fact that Canadians even come to the U.S. for surgeries because the wait in their country is over two years. And if you want an MRI in Canada be ready to wait well over a year. We the people in the U.S can only do so much for each other. Damn, some people who live in Canada are giving me a fucking headache. The next time your prime minister is elected I'm going to critique everything about them.
