Ok, here's the official hapse.
Matic 796 and some Heeven wash will be sold on Saturday, 11 October for $50 from the time of store opening in the morning.
Only 200 pairs of each will be distributed to each store.

Unsold pairs will be put online for more than three times the price after that day.

I guess I'll make a trip to the store (2-3 hours) to get a pair of the heevens and the matics for my gf. It'll be an excuse to get out to the city, its been a while.

I see the "inspired by 796" but when I see it I don't think 796. The repaired distressing helps seperate from 796. Yeah sure manual golden brush and lap whiskers but not screaming 796 to me.

nice. for 50 bucks I'll cop some more matics for the lady and try out some heevens, they don't seem a cut i'd like but it's worth a shot. anyone have any more info on the wash?

my friend Anthony , the store manager at the tampa store, didnt have them in yet and hadnt seen them but said it was indeed supposed to look like the 796 from what he had been told..


I will be back for the party on the 25th so hopefully I can get a sneak peak then

the wash is not 796. i can see that it could be interpreted as inspired by 796 maybe, but these definitelty not a straight up 796 wash nor are they extremely close to it. they are darker and dirtier and also have some repaired rips on them.
