Tell us about your 15 minutes of fame! - Page 2

The closest thing that I have to 15 minutes of fame is that I was part of a choir that sang the national anthem at the 1990 ALCS at Fenway Park. They wanted to get kids from "inner-city" Boston, so the guy organizing it called my dad to see if me and my brother wanted to do it. I have to say that at age 9, being on the field at Fenway was pretty freakin' cool.

this is a great thread. hahah. super entertaining.

you guys need to post videos or pictures of this stuff.

1. my first cousin is laura flyn boyle. she´s been in a lot of movies and stuff.

2. one time we were canoeing and we tipped the boat over. about 12 cop cars and a firetruck came to "rescue" us (even though were just laughing) we got in the paper. but the best part was when my buddy was in class and this one girl stood up and asked everybody to say a prayer for the boys that were in the canoe accident.

*I was on two different episodes of a dating show that used to be on the USA network called The Big Date.
*I also was on two different episodes of Melrose Place, one was an employee at the office party where Heather Locklear, Courtney Thorn Smith and the Shue guy and also Jack Wagner was there. The other one was at the bar they used to hang out at where the redhead Sydney worked at.
*My neighbor is an AMA racer, his name is Jason Curtis and he is friends with Nicky Hayden: http://www.nolimitmotorsports.com/pa...on-curtis.html

*My old best friend dated the guy that played Christian in Clueless: http://us.imdb.com/name/nm0907915/
*On Valentine's Day 1995, I made out with Steve Burton (Jason Morgan on the show) who is an actor on the soap General Hospital:

*I used to go to this bar almost every week on Thursdays in WestWood Village, CA called Maloney's On Campus and I used to make out with (several different times) Joshua Morrow (Nicholas Newman on the show) who is an actor on The Young And The Restless:

*The guy - Ryan McPartlin - that plays the boyfriend on the new show with Fran Drescher, Living With Fran lives across the street from me in another complex
http://us.imdb.com/name/nm0574131/
*I went to school with Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Zack Morris) when he was in 9th grade and I was in 10th. It was right when he started Saved By The Bell. He now lives about 10-15 minutes away:

*One of my friends Michele Andrews is married to an actor Real Andrews who was on General Hospital and As The World Turns:

*My friend Aimee Goeres is married to a director Bryan Goeres and we all used to work together at TGIFridays: http://us.imdb.com/name/nm0324426/

There are alot more actors I have run into or have pics with due to a great job I had at a restaurant in Malibu where alot of stars come to:
I have a pic of me and Dr.Dre (posted on here before), me and the actor Joe Montagna, Drew Barrymore showed me all her tattoos in the bathroom, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Courteney Cox, Neve Cambell, Kennedy, Jenny McCarthy, Amanda Bynes, Paul Newman, and so many more.

Okay, this isn't really a 15 mins. of fame type of story. More like my brush with fame. A couple months ago, we were downtown having some drinks for my boyfriend's birthday. Well after dinner, we walked outside the restaurant to see this small crowd forming. We were curious to see why so we kinda pushed our way to the middle. Turns out Bog Saget (aka DANNY TANNER!!!) just got done doing a comedy show near the restaurant we ate at & was just bar-hopping downtown! I know he's not a very big deal to some people but keep in mind, I watched every single episode of Full House as a kid... and I still watch the re-runs to this day!

As you can see, I sidebusted in this picture! I was extremely happy to meet him. Maybe a bit too happy!

OMG Mrs. B, one of my all time fave tv shows is Saved by the Bell, and when I was 16 Clueless was my all time favorite movie.

Hhhhmm famous people I've met, well . . .

- I sold floors to Murray Baron (used to play for the canucks and blues)

- I've met the guys from Jimmy Eat World (one of the few modern bands I like)

-Oh, and apparently I hit on/danced with the guy from Soul Decision's girlfriend, apparently she was like Miss Venezula or something like that. Gotta love booze.

Hmm I can't really think of my 15 minutes of fame, but...

-While shopping at Anthropologie at a local mall, I saw Elizabeth Taylor
-I saw David Arquette while shopping on Robertson Blvd
-The people who live 5-10 minutes away from me--that I know of--are Kobe Bryant, Karl Malone, Mark McGuire, and some other people whom I can't remember.
