the bf says that R&R looks the worst...too feminine....LOL
Something looking too feminine or "metro" is a pretty poor standard to judge jeans by in my opinion, but I agree with the conclusion that R&R looks the worst.

Diesel is definitely the best but im not really impressed with anything this season.

i dunno i think diesel is best but i also believe there are men who can pull off anything
post #30 of 85
^ Nova, i'm sure i could pull off anything. TR, RR, SFAM, COH, A&F... I would even go so far and persist in saying, that i'd look better in them than most of the guys here on HF, i've seen so far ( No stuck-up ! ). It's not as though these brands are harder to pull off, or as though only very special people are able to look good in them. Of course, a person with a great physique, long and slim legs and a buff bum will look not as as bad in RR's than a person with short sausage dog legs, knock knees, and a flab-ass; or even no ass. If you have a great physique, you will look at least halfway good in almost any jeans/brand. There's a thing i don't understand, though... Why should a guy wear R&R and TR ( COH and SFAM are not that bad, compared to them. ) if diesel has EVERYTHING ? A vast number of cuts, a vast number of washes, a vast number of different styles ( Plain, dressy, flashy, classic, trendy... ) - just everything. These brands have NOTHING what diesel couldn't give them, too. Except for these hideous backpockets. And in case that a person is fired up for hideous and extremely flashy backpockets; diesel also has some very hideous backpocket designs in their product range...

Same here !

Seeing as I'm still a rookie when it comes to jeans, I can't really vote on this, but I do look good in a pair of jeans haha
post #34 of 85
I would have to say Diesel or R&R as the best, but unfortunately I can't wear Diesel jeans because I have yet to find a pair long enough to fit me (I have friends who look absolutely fantastic in them though).

My vote goes to either Seven or TR's as the worse

^ Seriously ? How tall are you ?
6'5"

it sucks sometimes, especially when I'm distracted and walk into low hanging tree branches while walking
post #37 of 85
^ Are RR's longer than diesels in length 34 ? ( Btw, diesel also offers L36; at least in europe... )
All the pairs I own are at least 35", some are 36". I've never found a pair of Diesels that are long enough for me, if you have any suggestions let me know!
Like i said, diesel also offers jeans in L36. A friend of mine has a pair of larkee's ( 88Z ) in 32/36 and their inseam measures around 37'' ! That should be perfect for you...

For what kind of cut are you looking for ?

Let me know if i can help you =)

Extremely flexible and limber?

I think Diesel's are the best....I still like my Levi 501s though and still wear them but Diesel's are now the jeans of choice for me!
Diesel's will get you laid.

Well if you are going along those lines...it's one of the reasons my boyfriend was interested in me!

Thread Starter
1. Diesel
2. Rock & Republic
3. Levi's
3. SFAM
5. True Religion

I was expecting Levi's to to better and Rock & Republic to do worse.

There are probably lots of girls voting.

I think Diesels are the best out of that list and TR would be the next best. Most TR suck in terms of the washes and distressing, but there are a few rare ones (Wasteland and Easy Rider) that look cool when sized properly and worn in the correct cut. Overall they look better on chicks than dudes though. Levis would be my third choice cause they do have some decent fits and colors/washes from time to time...especially in the Capital E collection and their 510/511 skinny fits.

fuck you to whoever told levislad that there is another forum other than diesel

whenever i post a pair of pants that arent diesel someone always replies "wheres your dick?" as if they need some kind of reassurance that a penis is still attached. for me, the fact that you cant see a testicle imprint in my pants is proof enough that they look ok.

i am also of the opinion that true religion should never be worn under any circumstances. rock and republic is almost never allowed but there are exceptions for like midget asian gymnasts.
