got my new zatiny 73j from JJ. but, I think I need to size down 1(pics included)

As usual, I purchased the pair in 29x30 becuase zatiny (8iw & 8gr) in W29 have always fitted on me, I think, exactly right, not too loose and not too tight.

But, the zatiny 73j was little different this time.
It's not that they're really biger than the others at the same size, but because of the fabric, I guess. Even though it dosen't have any elastine things in it, it is still a bit elastic somehow. So, it seems like if you start to wear it, it wouldn't take long for it to become loose.

I like zatiny 8iw fit way better on me.
That's why I decided to size down 1.

I've just placed a new order (28x30) from JJ again, they're on the way~~~

So, what do you think?
Which fit do you think is better?
8iw ? or 73j?

I think both of them look great on you, which is saying something, since i'm actually not a fan of bootcuts. If i had to wear one of them, i'd very probably choose 73J...

They look good right now, although I'm not sure sung they'll look after 10 or so wears. From the looks of it I can't imagine sizing-down is an option since the seat and lap seem to fit correctly.

Jury is out on the 73Js though. Nobody seem to have good info on their stretch-factor yet.

So am I right that 73J uses some blue patches like 71J in addition to the black patches?

Great washes IMO. I think the fit looks good for now but like the others have said they won't fit that snug after a few wears.

^ No, it's really just 8IW itself being a tighter wash. Usually, you need to size up for them.

my Thanaz 8IW don't stretch out. I wore them a few times.

@sung ... both of the jeans fit great. Perhaps sizing down with the 73J is the right way but if they stay that way to fit (for the 8IW I trust they will) you can keep them in that size too.

8IW does stretch from 'tight' to 'perfect fit'. I've worn my Thanaz 8IW more than 15 times and the loss of rigidity was evident by a waist stretch of 0.3 in.

8IW looks better. The pockets arent as annoying looking either. I like the darker look on them. but I like simple things
