61E Question

Is there ANY way to dim down the "oily" look of these jeans? I really like them but the dirtiness kind of turns me off to them. I've seen some different pairs that are lighter though. Is there a way to do this yourself? Like maybe throw them in the wash with something? I know, weird random question. Thanks dudes.

What do you guys think of the wash? I am somewhat indifferent, however I really want to get some Livs.

considering 80% of those jeans is dirt, i wonder what do you like about them...

I love the wash. I would do some unmentionable things right now to find a pair of the Safado 61E in my size.

I didn't say I DISLIKED them. I just think they are a bit too loud. But I DO like them. I can't really explain why. But I do. I think I will get them soon. How do they run?

I remember trying a pair of 28W 61E and they felt like 30Ws. So yeah, size down 1, 2 would be better for sure.

i really dig these jeans, even though they are like tights on me at this point.
i wear a 30 w in these and a 33 in safado 71j so..go fig. size down 1 at the minimum.

Yeah you should size down 2 for thoses.

They have 3% elasthan if I remember correctly, way too stretchy for my taste

from what I can tell the oil doesn't really come out. Wash them a bunch of times and find out for yourself. The sizing is a problem too. I like 61e though. A very rock-like texture.

oil does comes out, i had to wash it once and SOME of the oil came out.

the ink makes the 61e wash! i love it personally.

You cant get rid of them. Oil stains are oil stains. but because each pair is distressed differently throughout the process you can specifically search for a pair that is not so inked. I have seen some that are completely covered and some that are very subtle.

perhaps this wash just isnt for you??

MissPookie- I just want a not so inked pair. I think Lorna has a more subtle pair from what I remember her telling me. I guess we will just have to wait and see!

i'm a 26/27 and i got the lowkys in a 26 i could not have sized down anymore. i don't know if its different for guys but for girls i'd say 1 down max

my lowkys fit me perfectly, so there's no way I can size down. The oil stains aren't that loud in person; it just looks more dramatic in pictures. Definitely a must-have wash
