Can I cut this dress into T-length?

I bought this dress awhile back and I have not worn it because it is very formal and most wedding and other functions that I attend are not quite this dressy. The dress actually comes to the floor on me maybe that is why it looks even dressier than in the pic. Anyway, I was wondering if you think it would look good cut shorter, maybe right below the knee - thanks!

that is a very pretty dress, but I wouldnt do anything to it personally. with how low the lace part goes, it might look funny altering it short. If you were too do it, I wouldnt go any higher than half way up to your knees. If it goes all the way to the floor on you, maybe alter it to the length in the picture? It might make a difference.

Thanks. I was kind of thinking the same thing. If I go too short, it will be too puffy.

exactly...kinda like a tutu. it would totally ruin the dress.
