I'm fine with it, when people say "Radiohead are way more talented, creative and unique than coldplay..."
I'm fine with it, when people say "Coldplay are not my cup of tea ! But radiohead are..."
I'm fine with it, when people say "Coldplay is overrated..."
I'm fine with it, when people say "Chris Martin's voice isn't that good..."
I'm fine with it, when people say "Radiohead would be able to perform any coldplay song 1000 times better..."

And so on...

But i can't sympathize with you, or any other person here, when you persist in saying that coldplay SUCKS, or that coldplay makes shitty music, or that chris martin can't sing, or that buckland, champion and berryman aren't good musicians, or rather not good in dealing with their instruments, or shitty songwriters...

Assuming that i'd tell you that coldplay are experts/pro on their subject. Would you disagree ?
Assuming that i'd tell you that chris martin is at least a halfway good singer, even though there are of course a lot of better singers out there. Would you disagree ?
Assuming that i'd tell you that coldplay are very good in what they do; regardless of whether you like what they do or not ? Would you disagree ?
Assumuming that i'd tell you that buckland is a good guitarist, champion a good drummer and berryman a good keyboard player ? Would you disagree ?

I guess you already know how that story goes and what i'm driving at...

Example:

There's a big competition between BMW and MERCEDES, especially in germany. Two different company philosophies, two different target groups, ... and so on... opinion is deeply divided on this issue. Die-hard BMW fans "hate" Mercedes. Die-hard Mercedes fans "hate" BMW. I personally am a BMW fan...

Nonetheless i'd never persist in saying that Mercedes builds shitty cars, only because i'm side with BMW...

The same is true for Coldplay/Radiohead ! Both bands are good musicians, but different and good in a variety of ways...
