Fake Diesels from Yoox.com?!

I recently ordered a pair of Diesels from Yoox and I just received them today. The moment I took them out of the package I already felt there's something wrong with the denim quality. I immediately check the other things and found out that the inside tags are on the left side instead of the right. The fonts and the Diesel logo are wrong and in poor stitching quality. The metallic strip is messy looking and there is not even a " Made in Italy" on the tag. I then compare the rivets with my other Diesels. The fake ones are loosely stamped onto the jeans as if they can come off with a slight pull.

Has anybody received fake jeans from Yoox before? How should I approach this matter? I'm worried if I tell them they're fake, they won't even give me a refund back! How do they even get fakes to sell!!

thats crazy. MAYBE someone bought a real pair from yoox and then returned a fake. and unfortunately you bought it.. post pics man

post pictures- also, dont take off the try on tag so you can send them back; like was stated above, it sounds like someone returned a pair of fakes in place of real ones- since Yoox is so huge and a majority of the staff untrained in identifying returned items it seems they are vulnerable to people who can carefully remove the try on tag and replace it on a different item.

Hm... ok I just did a search and there were a few posts about suspected fakes from Yoox... I'll try to post some pics here or in the authentication thread later. I just don't know if I should simply return them or notify them that they're fake and demand refund on return shipping.

^ I think they have free return shipping but with a $5 restocking fee.

Yeah, Yoox gives free return shipping, but there is that restocking fee. Just call their customer service number after you send them back and dispute the restocking fee telling them that the jeans were fakes.

I received a Paddom 89S that quite literally was missing a chunk of the waistband (you can prob search it)

Anyway, I put up a big stink, called and sent the item back with an explanation on the return card, and I was given all my money back including the restocking fee.

I think the only thing I lost was the paypal fees when Yoox sent my money back via refund or something.

a month or so ago, there was a shitload of fakes on there. i mean these were probably some of fakest jeans ive ever seen

the funny thing about them was the fact they were asking $174 & now they were on sale for $150 something

Yea, I can remember lots of people here saying they were going to contact them. JJDenim had the same problem a while back.

So I took some pics next to a pair of real ones.
Size 25, the light blue pair, is real; size 26, the dark blue pair, is fake.

Tags: wrong fonts, different Diesel head, missing "Made in Italy", messy metallic strip

Jeans length: Both listed as L34 but look at the difference...

Pictures on the site were of a pair of dark blue jeans, so I believe they were modeling the fakes... but you know, it's hard to tell they're fake when worn on a person.

And I don't even need to authenticate them cuz I know they're fake. hahaha~~

I doubt it's just one pair of fakes, i'm sure the whole batch of that model is fake. I don't think all of yoox suppliers are legit.

Not yet. When should I bring up the fact that they're fake? Before they refund my CC, or after I got my refund? I just don't want to be denied a refund because they refuse to accept THEIR fakes.

Wait doesn't DIESEL use YOOX as a direct distributor when you order online? When I ordered my 72Y my invoice and packages were all in Yoox letterhead.

yeah that doesn't mean anything. they manage Diesel stuff different from their own products.

Obviously the Diesel denim will be authentic whereas yoox other suppliers of outlet/overstock/samples/etc may not always be.

still, the fact that Diesel uses Yoxx's service and Yoox sells fake Diesel products looks bad on Diesel IMO- Diesel should be notified so they can crack down on Yoox, or at least help them identify quality suppliers and train them in telling real from fake- Yoox might not even know

nobody is going to do anything because nobody complains. Most people don't even realize they're getting the fakes, the ones that do will keep returning them until someone buys them and ends up keeping them.

They're afraid to say something because they may not accept the return so yoox doesn't know and from what I can tell, even if you contact them about it they will claim they're authentic and don't care.

I would throw a shit-fit...for real, a huge one.

Demand to speak to a manager right away, keep track of all the names of the people you talk to and document any e-mail correspondence.
