Favorite sheets, towels, etc.?

Just got a new queen sized bed (appropriate, I know) and the sheets I stole from my house up north are heeinnnousss. I want some new sheets & pillows and probably some new towels, etc.

I was looking at the Lacoste collection at Macy's, but it's only 250 count which I think is rather low (?).
The towel collection is really cute, though..

What are your opinions? Favorite places to shop for bed & bath??

Tell me! Tell me!

I got mine at Dillard's.

You definitely want at least 300 thread count sheets, preferably higher.

Bed Bath and Beyond has a good selection of sheets and towels. The Grand Patrician towels are the thickest and nicest ones there. Since a bunch of Linen's N' Things are closing down, they might be having sales. Both stores also have great selections of nice down pillows and stuff.

style & co at macys!! They are 300 thread count egyptian cotton.

Style&co. "300 Thread Count" Egyptian Cotton Sheet Sets - Style&co. - Bed & Bath - Macy's

But get them in the store, not online cuz they are always on sale. I believe the King sheets are on sale for $79.99, so the Queen sheets would prob be around $69.99

This is the only ones we get and I love them, they are so soft.

For towels we get Hotel Collection, also from Macys. They are thick and super soft and hold up well after several washings.........meaning they don't get hard like some other towels do. We used to get Polo towels but after about 20 washings, they'd be hard.........these don't do that.

Hotel Collection "Microcotton" Luxury Towels - Bath Hotel Collection - Bed & Bath - Macy's

But again, go in the store as they are usually on sale for $19.99 for the bath towel (reg price is $25).

Also if you have a macys card, they always have great coupons to get 10% or 15% off in the home section.

bed & bath?...& beyond of course!

not really though, depends how much you're willing to spend, but I do say that 250ct. is on the lower scale. 300ct should be good though, and I'd go to Macy's if you have one as well or a Burdine's {wait...unless it's Burdines Macy's...it's been a while since I've been to the local mall here} Sears{do they sell Sheets? I don't recall} or um, well, yeah, I have no idea..

For some reason I LOVE Ikea sheets. I had a hard time finding plain white cotton sheets that have a higher thread count. Everything was "sateen" which wasn't what I wanted. They're sheets are great! I think they are 300-400 thread count, extra deep and are a good price.

I have been tempted by smartbargains.com They have higher thread counts for AMAZING deals sometimes. Check them out!

I think Smart Bargains / Loehmann's is the way I am gonna go on this one. They've got some gorgeous Egyptian cotton sheets with high TCs for very good prices!

Thanks to everyone for their suggestions.

I can recommend buying some Pima or Bamboo cotton as well. They are extremely comfortable to sleep on

Best sheets ever. The nice thing about Costco and their liberal return policy - buy towels, sheets, whatever from them and as long as you have a receipt, you can return it (even after using them). I know, so unethical but whatever.
