Well they look OK, but whats with the assembled in Mexico on the tag all about. Not seen that before.

They're real. A lot of the new straight-to-discount-store pairs have been assembled in Mexico.

I don't think I like them. The whiskering on the front looks "un-natural" if you will. I will keep looking...

I saw a pair at neiman marcus that had the same tag though. i think seven is mixing the batches now since the economy in the US is so effed up.
