Thanks for the entertainment dickwad, but I wouldn't buy Zathan 772 if the pope commanded me to do so...those stupid cauliflower-looking things look like genital warts.

I do like this idea though. In the car world, smaller parts manufacturers regularly work with forums to produce special-order items if there is a demand...but you'd never see Honda re-issuing the '87 Civic Si, for example, no matter how many people would buy one.

Nike retros all their great shoes, and if I were in a position to make these decisions for Diesel I would tell them to hop on the bandwagon. I'm newish to this but even I can think of probably ten combinations of cut/wash that people would go nuts for in the event of a re-issue.

i believe there is still a HUGE market for zathans and discontinuing them would be a stupid decision by diesel but that explains the release of zatiny. and i thought the 772's were to be available on jjdenim today?

In case anyone cares, or wants additional assurance, I was just on the phone with JJ Denim regarding an order that I had placed, so I felt I asked about these new 772's.

According to the guy that I spoke with, as mentioned by some other posters, JJ Denim was able to get Diesel to run them a batch of 772's in the zathan cut. They are expecting them any time now, and they will be receiving about 1200 pairs in various sizes.


Since I haven't been able to get my hands on a pair of '03 or '04's, if this new batch resembles the distressing and detailing on the early pairs, I will grab a pair for sure. . .
