i signed up. i "heard" from the other forum few days ago that jjdenim had received the jeans in their warehouse and his workers are taking pictures of every pair and they would be posted on their website for sale in about 2 weeks(now about 1 week)..

check this out, i clicked the link of the zathan 772 after i added it to my and i got to a page which had a model rocking some jeans that look like zathan 72j.. i hope those are not the "special 772's"? and im wondering why coupons arent working for the 772's

I have Zathan 72J and they aren't streaky like that. I have no idea what wash that is and if they are sending those out as "the new 772" they're gonna' be screwed.

The side view of them looks like a 772 without holes, but the front view looks washed out. I don't know WTF is going on. Hope you get a legit 772 and not that BS.

yup. they arent giving refunds for some reason. im not going to buy it until i see some real pics. if what i posted earlier is the so called "special 772's", then i rather buy an 06 772 because these have no distressing at all!

I'm getting a page w/o pictures/description. I added a pair to my shopping cart though, and in the summary it says zathan 772s..

Yeah really. Interesting way to sell a product online with no refunds or at the very least pictures of what the heck these things look like. I just got off the phone with someone over there who was no help with this mystery at all.

I asked how it worked, would we pre-order then be able to select certain pairs afterwards or if they were older models or what and all all I got was that they don't really know too much and that they wouldn't get them until next week. Also that they are only available through online ordering not over the phone...uh wtf??

color me unimpressed.

also, not to be blunt, but why the heck wouldn't they be 'real'? do we really think jjdenim who prides themselves on their Diesel selection is going to offer something else other than the Zathan 772 they've been boasting about for all this while? just sayin, i don't think they're gonna be screwing anybody.

Agreed, they'll be real. Although, it does suck that we have no idea what they look like.

I mean by 'older version' they could mean the ones right before the 06 ones, which weren't all that great TBH.
