hey guys, i'm pretty new to the forums but i figured i'd chime in =)

i got these zathan 71j's a few weeks ago and they felt just a tiny bit too big and since i wear 26x30 it's not like i can really size down... so i attempted selling them in the mall but got no bites. now i'm starting to like them a little more =)

[edit]
oh, and don't mind my cat in the background haha

They are too big....I'm sure you could get a 26

He could indeed size down, but I think he wanted to express that he already has this denim in waist 26 and diesel does not produce male 25 waist sizes.

^mike: dont worry, even if they arent tight, it looks like the size is wearable.

yeah, they're size 26x30. zathans usually fit me perfect in that size but these obviously run big. the waist seems to fit perfect but they are kinda loose in the thighs. definitely a bummer that these are too big, i've wanted zathan 71j since 06 when everyone was raving about them hah.

Yeah, they run big and stretch a lot. An evil combination.

But they look good in that size. I tend to have denim from the whole range of ball-hugging-tight to relaxed-loose, to have the option of wearing what I feel comfy in for the certain day.

I thought that I should contribute to this thread too, since I bought Safado's !!

Typical Safado fit - great until you get to the knee. Nice pickup though, post with shoes on

The lower leg is much too loose for my taste. That's why I don't buy Safados, despite the fact that 8IH is a really nice pair.

^^ Ross: Yeah I know. but its good for a change, I can't always wear Thanaz and skin tight or very slim jeans. I actually wear Safado and Straight leg jeans more often these days.

Tricky: It depends on how you look at them and with what you wear them ! But Safado is a good cut.
Yeah I kinda have the same complaint about Safado that Tricky does. They're just baggy and bunchy around the calf/ankle area. Otherwise they look good.

^ I've returned my Safado 8IH on yesterday for exactly the same reason. The supersoft 8IH denim makes it look even worse; especially in L34 Almost every single inch of stacking looks horrible on Safado. Unfortunately...

Hey,I am looking at some used zathan 71j on ebay-how can someone tell if they are in good shape or if they old and worn out, since the are kinda a" worn out" type of wash anyway?
