Kubie,
I am, I want the smooth dark brown leather ones though, and they've been impossible to find since they're last season. You'll have to post worn pictures once you get them. What size did you order?

Am thinking of buying these boots:

ShoeMall - Free Shipping on Frye Men's Marco Chelsea Boot

Frye Marco, in dark brown, to be worn with Zatiny and Viker.

Was hoping for opinions on the boot iteself, whether you feel it work work well with those jeans and opinions of Frye boots in general.

Damn, you must have a sore lower back now and your local shoe stores must hate you, 100 pairs? I can't even find 5 different pairs of all white designer sneakers here

In fact, I think my city is previous level, so cp will be next level here, as no store sell them (not that I know of). To be honest, I didn't even try on 1 pair of white designer sneakers because there are just none, and I still haven't tried on the cp as they're coming by mail

I am getting used to buying stuff I haven't tried on and pray it fits me.

The current trend is, the more generic and logoless they look, and the more expensive they are, they are next level. It's all about the white buttery soft leather

Can anyone help me find a slim boot in size 13 or 14 similar to antmoney's shown below? I'm having a very hard time finding a pair and need some boots badly. This is the look I'm going for though:

what do you guys think of these for a beginner pair of cheapo boots? Are these so terrible I should kill myself for mentioning them or what? I've never owned a pair of boots before so relax. i need a cheap pair to start with and i don't see what can be bad about these. very simple design IMO.

^^ If You like them, and they're cheap , then buy them !!!

How about this pair ?? Ted Baker Testa

These are terrible on so many levels.

^ could you post a pic of what you think is the perfect boot?

one thing I hate about HF is the level of pickiness. it's through the roof.

Well I don't know what is the "perfect" boot, but I can tell you that you need to really consider the shape and details of the boot, even if you are going to get some cheap ones.

What I like now are rounded toes that are not too pointy. I do prefer laced ones rather than zipped or slip on ones, but I wouldn't discount all zipped/slip on ones.

Taking care of your leather shoes(boots):
-Leather uppers should be treated regularly, use a good quality cream for a dull lustre or bees wax polish for high shine. This helps to moisturise the leather and prevents cracking or creasing, always ensure your shoes are dry before applying.

-Never use liquid polish applicators on fine leather shoes,it can contain chemicals that destroy natural leather.

-Suede and Nubuck should be cleaned gently with a suede brush.Removing stubborn marks will require a suitabe product available in any good quality shoe care store.

-Please be aware that Suedes & Nubucks can never be made entirely colourfast and care should be taken on carpets, furnishings etc.

-If your shoes become wet allow them to dry naturally, never dry them using direct heat or a radiator.

-Natural leather heels and soles are often made up of several layers.Leather will expand when wet and should be dried slowly to avoid separation of these layers.

-Leather shoes can require a day to dry out from natural perspiration...avoid wearing your shoes on consecutive days.

-Always use a shoe horn when putting on your shoes, this avoids damage to the heel area.

Hope this'd help you guys.

And I don't know what is the"perfect" boot either. But here's my boots collection:

i really these pairs DH

Prada boots

Boss hugo boots.

I just got these ones yesterday.(Should i return these pairs or not?i don't like them a lot)

paul smith york boot

these pairs that i'm still looking for.
