The Boots and Shoes thread (w/ PICS) - Page 89

Just bought those zara shoes today, ok they are not ndc or any other high end brand but I think they look decent.
What do you guys think?

^ one thing that I hate about zara shoes is that they always have (ehm...lol) rubber soles
and they are always priced too much for the quality you get (IMO)
I like the silhouette, probably green shoes are not my cup of tea, but I like the contrast with tan/light brown
post #2203 of 2548
Believe it or not, the tag says "exterior sole --> leather" but I agree that i looks more rubber than leather...must be cheap leather.
I paid 89€ for them...but didn't remove the tag for if I change my mind, I always take a few days to think about my new buy.

Still not sure about keeping them, as we are entering spring/summer and I don't see myself wearing those with light jeans (71j, 8GS....) and graphic t's.

Green shoes? they are black, or I'm colorblind...
so I AM colorblind, definetely!

last two pics must have been misleading, I saw some green shades

gawd...

At now, i understand the bad soles that Diesel make.

omg

$210 ( but now on SSENSE $98.... )

I decided if i want DIESEL's,
-that is only for one Quarter..
-$100 max payments

no problem w/t PS & Buttero & N.D.C and so on??
i know that depending on how many times i put on...

^ that's the main topic about Diesel boots or shoes. You have to deceide to put in about double $ for quality boots or not.

I've never seen a problem like this with N.D.C. , PS or Buttero.

anyway, a cobbler can repair that for a few bucks, no big deal...
@Saddock

like them shoes. nice pair!
@ Saddock

I also like them but I think you paid a bit too much.
I buy a lot of zara shoes but usually on sale so I never paid more than 50 euro per pair & as Evil said they are overpriced for it's quality. Just like they were made to be on sale

Belsize came in. Not sure of the color. It is more orange than I was expecting. What do you think should I keep?

^ I really like them. especially with your RAW DDGs. how much have you paid?

we should open a thread with the actual shoe collection of the members here. would be nice to see...
i've been thinking about that, actually. We should start one.

I got the Belsize from Yoox at $160, not bad considering the black ones are going for $311 over at Ssense.
I actually think they'll look better with less darker washed denim.
my rotation consist of DDG raws, 8AA (which aren't much lighter),and 17f . I plan on copping 8iw and thats about it. I

I dunno, not over enthusiastic about any lighter washes. except maybe 71b. I love 8sv, but can't fathom wearing them without ever feeling slightly insecure.
that's what I meant by less darker, like 8iw, 8fc and such. I'm not really into light washes either, although I did recently cop 72l.

lol, I would post pics but I'm not very satisfied with them yet. my pair is pretty faded looking compared to what I've seen in pics and doesn't have as much ink. I'm thinking about customizing them with a paint brush by using ben's method. I'm fairly confident I can recreate the ink spots but I'm not sure how to make a few faded spots that are almost white, darker.
thoughts on these? they come in white and grey too.

Like them!! Really really like the design.

Do you have a link or something?
revolveclothing.com
expensive though...$432.

they've been out on ssense for awhile now for $389, and I've been eying them

also noticed that the grey pair on ssense is darker then the grey pair on revolve.
those are the new achilles, aren't they?
I like them as well
^yup.
Damn, pretty expensive indeed!!

This model seems to be more made for tucked-in jeans look, am I wrong?
