Those safari boots retailed for $357? sounds crazy.

Okay so check this out, I copped those cp black canvas safari boots from yoox a couple days ago because they were cheap. The shoes delivered today but guess what, they're not canvas! It's leather! I first thought that maybe they were supposed to be like that because the inside lining is a different material, so I thought maybe that's what yoox meant by canvas. Then I read the side of the box and it says leather safari boots! Did anyone else who ordered these boots get the same thing. I did notice that on the women's section of yoox, they have leather cp's, so I'm wondering if they sent me the wrong ones. But it's in the size I ordered(unfortunately too big).

edit: Just checked the images again and it's def not the women's. the numbering on the side for the women's is at an angle as opposed to the men's which is straight.

Lol, the numbers are all over the place on those. I'v seen plenty of crooked-angle mens cps. Awesome that you got leathers tho

This is the pair I received:



They are size 42 and run a little bigger as expected so I doubt they're the women's version, specially since yoox didn't have a 42 for the women's. I'm probably gonna keep them even though there is a little extra space behind the heel. What's weird is the left foot fits tighter than the right specially around the toes. Anyways, $98 for a pair of new leather cp's is a steal I guess. So did anyone else order this pair and get lucky like me, I just wanna know if yoox listed it wrong.

I wished they did this with my grey canvas pair.

^That's what I can't figure out. They don't have the leather pairs listed on their site but they do have them in stock. Maybe a preview of things to come.

^^ CP uses european sizing (because of the soles). Therefore a womens and a mens 42 are exactly the same. I doubt that CP is doing gender specific models anyways. Most of the models are just available in a variety of sizes.

Those are ugly. The sole is too bulky. They look like tire treads actually. Is it a boat shoe or a loafer? They looks like a hybrid to me. bloafer?

Not fan of toe cap in general, I prefer the kind of the first model you posted.

Brown ones are nicer, but i agree cap toe is a bit formal.

Personally, I don't mind the cap toe. And I can do formal, actually I prefer it over the casual look.
