Oh, and since you do like the first pair of Dior shoes, I would recommend instead a nice pair of black oxfords, or even brown if you want something more casual.

Hmm I don't know what your budget is, but common projects has a nice (plain) looking oxford. There are also some nice offerings from opening ceremony and generic man. Yoox offers some nice stuff sometimes. Usually a lot costume national homme and some moma, but you see other brands pop in and out (I got some jil sanders a while ago).

I think the skane is a pretty classic looking shoe. I do think you can get them cheaper off different websites. As for sizing, I have no idea. I did a good search and a post on some random forum said to size up, but I don't know how true that is. The only thing is that profile looks weird on zappos.

Toe is ugly.
edit: don't you have black dior boots that are possibly the chelsea style also? maybe for a brown boot you might want to go with a different style and something more casual.
