Athletic/Muscular Legs...best style?

slim jeans just dont look right on me.... I dont want something overly baggy either, but it needs to have a little bit of room. I do prefer straight leg to bootcut probably too..


Any suggestions on which fit would be best for me?


Larkee maybe?

You can look at the Yarik B cut - It's low front/medium back rise, zip pockets, straight legs. It's pretty much in between the looser and the regular-slim cuts, could be quite flattering for those with built legs.

Never tried anything beyond the Yarik, so I won't comment on the Larkees.

Im a distance runner and am really built in the legs and I have a yarik 71B and I think the cut is perfect. Because of my bigger legs they fit a little tighter than a normal straight leg but not so much that you look like youre wearing slim fit or anything close to thanaz. I'd look into yarik

Levan or Quratt. Quratt is much bigger in the thigh though.

You should post a photo of your build, if your legs are big but long, you might be able to pull off a slimmer cut. It just really depends on your proportions.

If you're like me, and big with short ass legs you might want to look into Viker for Straight legs, and Zathan/Zatiny for bootcuts. If your thighs are huge, maybe even Quratt for straight or Khoffa for bootcut.

From what you're saying, I think you'd be very happy if you got into some Larkees. Make sure to find out as much as possible about how much your wash of choice is going to stretch - I sized down from a 30 to a 29 waist for my Larkee 73Cs, but I can't advise about this really as it's only one wash among many, and it struck me as kind of unusual. Maybe when you find the wash you like you can ask about others' experience with it.

long muscular legs... i'm like 6'2". my legs arent huge, they are just very muscular looking.

I'm about 6'1 w/ muscular legs as well and safado fits me pretty nicely. Especially the stretch washes.

^ wow... safados are toite like a tiger on me. I find zathans are pretty good on my hockey legs. Yariks aren't bad too.

Safados are tight as hell in the thighs. My thighs aren't huge by any means but I just barely fit them into a Safado 8aa in 27W/30L. I have Yariks in 26W and they are more roomy.

I have runner's legs (because I run, natch) and I find that Zathan is a bit too tight in the thighs and ends up being way too big in the waist. For some odd reason, Zatiny actually works better than Zathan (aren't they supposed to have the same cut except a smaller bootcut?). Other cuts I like are Viker and Levan, Levan being a little slimmer (but not tight-slim) than Viker.

Interesting to read about Safado. I've never tried 'em on, and would like to...

Inseam on my 8aa is long as hell too. It's as long as my Timmen 28/32
