Rules are rules, but everyone deserves a second chance. Especially a guy who did so much to help people and did so much to liven up the site (not to mention all the traffic he singlehandedly generated). Tee could be reliably counted on to offer honest, unflinching, and genuine advice to people. What some saw as rudeness, I saw as honesty, the same as I see it from JSKidder or JJINZ or any other acid-tongued members.

I truly believe that the site is better off WITH Tee and his wealth of knowledge. Sure, he's provocative, and he broke a rule, but there are a lot of members out there who abide by the rules yet only contribute 1% of what he did (I'll freely count myself among them).
+ fuckin 1 ross, this is the most logical argument for Tee out of all of them so far, including mine.

i really think begret's (and your and mine) skepticism of Tee's true "multiple account maliciousness" is very logical. imo, *Bee* is one of the most well-liked and intelligent members on here- maybe the mods should listen to her before assuming too much.

for me, the difference between Tee and other confrontational members is tee would (almost) always offer a suggestion or help when he disagreed with you. i can think of many members who are much more respected but also much less helpful with the same dose of rudeness.

i also, while following all rules, have not contributed much to this site so far except for a few recommendations and outfits here and there. nobody would care if i was banned, where tee's banning generated a 4-page ideological debate. the fundamental difference between this and someone like Mario is all people offered in support of Fishetti was his humor; the main thesis of Tee's defense is honesty, helpfulness and knowledge.

finally, although i have nothing against lorna or any of the others who are glad tee's gone, i notice you even negged ross's post here. all it offers (as well as mine, which you will also likely neg) is a logical, both-sides taken into consideration defense.

^^very nice of you to say, sinclairaw, but it is not intelligence, more likely being pretty old and i don't see in black and white so much as i did when i was 20 years younger.
however it is not my site. i am not afraid to give my opinion for sure, though. i do believe that his friend was really a friend and that he is who he is.

of course some people would notice if you were banned!

People should have all of their information straight before telling the mods what we should/shouldnt do. (No offense at all to Begret, whom I deeply respect)

kelly: I don't doubt what you're saying is true, and i think the mods here do a really great job. however, i'm pretty certain there has been a misunderstanding here. ie this dana women is actually a really good friend of tees in real life. and she used tees computer to create her account.

kelly, while the two IP's match, this is not the point ross, begret and me are trying to make.

there is no way you can be sure both accounts were operated by Tee himself unless he admitted to it or gave overt hints by the second account's posting style or obnoxiousness.

my roommate and I (his ID is fackrelj if you want to check) both created our HF accounts from the same router, and routinely share computers depending on which battery is charged. It may well appear that *I* created his account, though I did not.

finally, the second account, if i'm not mistaken, was even registered as a pro account. the evidence points towards begret's conclusion and you have to reach one of the following points:

1. tee spent $20 to create a new account to pretend he was a girl for some crazy reason, or
2. tee convinced his friend to not only join HF (from his computer) but also to put an extra $10 to your and Dave's pockets.

btw, feel free to ban both my roommate and I if we did in fact register from the same IP, as this is against the rules and we're obviously pretending to be each other.

I know they ARE the same computer , tee says she created an account on his computer, they hang out at his place. Now, I am taking his word regarding this. I myself created my HF account on my husband's work computer, and then a year or so ago I got my own computer, and we got wireless at our house.

Also, I said I don't expect anyone to listen to anything I say.

That includes mods, friends, pets,husband, you get the picture.

Two IPs being the same does not necessarily mean that it's the same person indeed. Sometimes ISPs use something called NAT (Network address translation) which causes a number of users to appear to the outside world as having the same IP address.

Two points to consider...

*Tee* does post a lot and the DanaStarr did post a lot in that one day.. 20-21 posts in a single day for DanaStarr and secondly, there was an overuse of the exclamation mark by both posters.

It very well may be two people using the same laptop computer. I don't think IP address matches should be the only thing that warrants banning and thus far it has been said that this is not the only reason.

WRONG AGAIN. You ARE making an assumption. In logic, this is called "begging the question," and the question "begged" here is, "is only one person using the computer?" Your embarassing line (or rather, lack of) of reasoning ONLY holds true if you ASSUME the answer to this question is "yes." More embarassingly, this is also circular reasoning.

I suggest you let someone with greater intellectual capacity to engage our discussion, madam.

so i feel that we've made some progress. we now know that tee was banned because:

1. an account was created from his computer, that he claims to be somebody else's. although DanaStarr's use of the exclamation point was tee-like, this punctuational proof is all the mods can base their "multiple accounts" claim on.

2. he was rude (honest) to other members. we all know that jskidder, considered most respected and fashionable by many here, is also (hilariously) rude and honest. i don't think tee deserved banning for his personality any more than james does. also, skids, why haven't you chimed in? i saw you eating popcorn and laughing along with me in the infamous pink tights thread.

*edit- although i love the grey wash of the 85w, the zippers, light blue flame pockets and red stitching kill it for me. thanaz 8ev 91w is a much better grey jean imo.

edit 2* since both the farco 85w and thanaz 8ev 91w fashion pant are grey and diesel, they should both be banned from honestforum for having multiple identities.

why are you guys so shocked and surprised like this has never happened before?

reasons why people have been banned in the past:

* making clever, insulting photoshops of a proven and obvious spammer
* someone claiming that you called him/her a "cunt" via PM
* creating a joke username of an already banned spammer
* for being mario fischetti

you guys should just get used to it and accept the fact that that's just simply how hf is

there's only one way to resolve this.. someone needs to get this danastar womens phone no. off tee, and give her an impromptu call to prove her existence.

now, i'll gladly put my hand up for the task (she was pretty cute, and if all goes well, i can ask her out at the same time)
